Just thought I would post some pictures of my new knife. Would love your thoughts.

Several months ago many members on this forum were extremely kind and expressed heartfelt condolences when I explained how the knife I had commissioned was in honor of my son who was abducted to Brazil by his mother. I just wanted to let you know that there was a story in the news today about my son and our struggle.

I'll post the link in a separate comment

After seeing your story, I'd say that's about the most beautiful knife in the world.

Looks like a great knife to take into the heavy bush...or to put away in a glass-fronted curio cabinet.

Is there more pics?

Yes!

Like a # of folks have already said, Jay's knives aren't my cup of tea either, but they certainly are crazy impressive & undeniably beautiful in their own right...& I've seen several of his simpler knives that I would love to own, it's just the vast majority have too much going on for me personally. With that said, I 100% get why you saved & spent so much $$ on this....even without your son's story, I'd get it as a knife guy. I'm glad you love the knife man, & I've got to believe you'll be reunited with your son soon - best of luck my friend!!

Excuse me, 6 years??
You have incredible patience. It looks like it was worth it! Congrads on your knife! It must be exciting having it in your hand after all these years. Is it everything you'd hoped it to be?

Absolutely love the display CS!!! Just beautiful!!! It really hits home with the pic next to it. Beautiful boy!
To say it pulls at the heart strings is an understatement!
I went through the most horrible divorce and when my ex realized I was getting custody of our 3 boys she tried to pull the same shit yours did.
I raised them alone for 14 years and I was a tad over protective the whole time!
Who would ever think a beautiful woman would even think of doing that to her child?? Take a look at my ex.....would you ever think she's possessed????? Well the bitch is!!!
Been praying for a happy reunion since I first read of your plight. Hang in there!

Looks can be deceiving. No doubt about that. Hopefully Your boys will know everything you did for them. Thanks for your kind words of encouragement.

Mr Brann,

Just found this thread. First of all, best wishes for your effort to bring your son back. I hope having that wonderful piece of art do give you additional strength to go through all this. I believe sooner or later your son will have the opportunity to know what an amazing person his father has always been, and you will have the opportunity to pass this work of art to him.

Second, congratulation for your collections of Jay Fisher knives. I am also a big fan of his works, and have communicate with him several times although I don't own any of his works because the country where I live prohibits imported knife. A great knife maker, a great artist, and after hearing from you about how he support you through all these, I have to say, an even greater personality. I first seen this Pallene in his website. Impressive work, but after knowing the story behind it, it amazes me even more.

Thank you for sharing this, and keep strong.

I'm sorry for your situation which has encumbered your ability to obtain one of Jay's knives. I appreciate your support and I hope that one day you are able to obtain one of his works of art. You are very kind, thank you!
