The show Knife or Death, was the inspiration for the K18.

Jo was on the first season, followed by several other CPK’ers, Dan Keffeler, Mecha with one of his titanium blades…

After watching a couple of episodes, I mentioned that a double edged sword with different edge geometries would be ideal for the show. A more obtuse edge for things like chopping through gravel filled buckets etc., and an acute edge for things like slicing through the ropes and hanging meat.

The discussion took off, and the K18 was born (but sadly, never got the chance to show off its capabilities, before the show was canceled).

I think all of us would LOVE to see a competition where someone like Bennie could put the K18 through the paces.

so for folks trying to decide on preorder scale material / colors... there's lots of pics of the grey, green, and OD terotuf, but I'm less sure about the others - this is what I think has been seen in this thread so far

I am uncertain on the black ones but the others are accurate, I believe.

Love this blade. Was never really into “Ninja” type blades but wow 🤩 and even though the handle looks simple it is well thought out and keeps the blade oriented just right.

This is one of those forever blades! I had secured two, one was for a friend. I kinda wished I had kept my mouth shut now and I’d still have two.

Next pictures will be it tearing into something.

I had double black on a couple others. No doubt it’s sweet. I’m talking about the double black/red that I’ve seen just recently. Thicker black/red combo.

I’ll go find a pic…
