Highly unlikely they'd fit as well as carefully made custom fitted saya, but if it's the listing I found that's $20.xx/ea when buying 2, + $30 shipping, it's an awfully tempting deal (didn't see if they combine shipping for 2, but even if they don't, $50/ea isn't bad at all. If the fit is halfway decent, $35/ea is a steal).

They didn’t really combine shipping so it was like $100 all in for the 2

Sorry for the delay. Trying to get work in before my kid is out of school and my productivity poops the bed. Side rant, between this Saturday and MLK Day my county has school exactly 3.5 days.

I didn't know there were Ninja's in Mexico, so I am guessing no :)

Think of it as a slightly larger, more roomy version of the sheaths I already make with a wider mouth and about 90% of the length covered. Instead of loops or mounting points a couple of D-Rings to sling it over your should like a guitar case or a short strap to use as a carry handle. It'll be fully welted, wet formed but not boned. If people like them I may make a few fully lined fancy pants versions with some additional upgrades. This will be the kind of thing you can toss in your car to take your sword to deer camp or Christmas dinner so when your cousin asks you if you brought any cool knives you can have it handy.

A little progress on 6 sayas. These are Yellow Alaskan Cedar. The hardware is G10. All 6 are fitted to the sword and glued up. The hardware is installed at both ends. The snugness of the fit is mostly from the 3/16" flat above the bevel which should be consistent for all of the K20, so hopefully they won't only fit mine. (My K20 falls perfectly onto a tracing of Yoko's...) I'm glad that these are nontraditional since instead of fitting the throat to a habaki, it just requires a simple rectangular slot.
Shaping is a little tedious. The curved profile is built in and it was quick to knock the corners off, but I need to get a nice oval shape throughout. I split a 60 grit belt at the seam and it goes pretty quickly with shoeshine action, checking with my little oval gauge. If there was only one I'd be smiling right now, but there are 6. The first one is coming along, but the flat along the side should disappear into a nice curve. yoko yoko is a cruel taskmaster and wants them all at 400 grit before paint...

I heard they were worth up to $30 on ebay so I decided to cash in.
It is coming along better than I feared. We all know that spokeshaves are for the birds. I got them all roughed in pretty quickly on a slack 36 grit. Yoko is our resident auto paint specialist. He's going to do a variety of nice color combos, metal flake etc, and put on some nice clear coat. His paint booth should be a lot better than hobby lobby spray cans in a dusty garage.
