Truth, they are only little people. Single shot .22's will do the trick for them :D

Those little single shot .22's are so cool, and my little girl loves dressing up in her princess outfits too TBL. She probably has more play dresses than I have normal clothes but she is also spoiled rotten lol ;) I dont let her wear them out for "hikes" but she has to carry a knife, flashlight, and bag for finding "treasures." She has been carrying my little AG Russell Hunters Scalpel, which fits her hand just perfectly. Plus its bright orange is hard to misplace, the sheath helps prevent accidental removal, and if you take the sheath off all fingers are out of the way of the edge. She has claimed it as her own so I just go along with it. Think I need to get her a BK13 and put some micarta on there for her or something.

We sure enjoyed our visit with the fine folks in Olean. Kabar is blessed with some of the best people in the world. Loved hanging out for a while. :thumbup:
 
Sounds like a fun trip!

I played with my Parangatang today trimming the bushes in my back yard today :D

It's all about who you know, I suppose. I went to Olean, and was told the only thing I could see was the inside of the Welcome Center. Still like KA-BAR though.

In fairness though, I got the same cold shoulder routine from the Spyderco people in Golden.

Its nice :) Last year I went on a high end folder kick. They're nice but there is nothing my BK11 can't do that they can (other then fold). As far as weight and walking around... the 11 in the custom sheath that Dex sent me is around 6oz where my folders are 7+. 11 rides on hip... folders in pocket... I normally end up carrying all of them around cause I can. Regular EDC on my person looks like this:

Mainly because they are all nice and I can't decided which one to carry....

I normally swap out the 0121 (ZT fixed blade) on weekends when I'm not working and carry a 5 or 15 in its place. Thinking the less 'tactical' looking Snody Big Boss would go nicely in my rotation to replace the 0121 but need to do a little bit more saving up first :thumbup:

To achieve near light saber performance, spray on a couple of coats of this every once in a while. Lasts a good while. A can will do all your choppers and coated blades for years. :thumbup:

How does it do for preventing rust?
 
Yeah, I was looking at getting an 0562, but settled on a 0560 instead. A few weeks later I got to hold an 0562 and it was just a wee bit small in hand for me. Not uncomfortable, just a bit smaller than I like. I kinda liked the looks of it better, though.
