Kabars Space Force Knife

My wife agrees I need both the USSF Ka-Bar knife and Breacher Tool.
Now I just have to wait till they reach a Canadian retailer...then my new life of orbital adventure can begin! :)

dont forget the best of this whole grey/light blue theme from kabar - the new d2 dozier folder... just wow - they should have done this long ago!

Are 1095 Cro-Van and Kraton the best materials to hold up under the extreme conditions of the void of space? If so, I must have one.

Joking aside, an edged tool in space is (probably) very useful.

However, you really want to prioritize weight savings with space flight. On average it costs over $5,000 to ship a pound of payload into low Earth orbit (~$2,500/lb for large, up and coming rockets, ~$10,000/lb in smaller, older rockets). So that Kabar alone would cost $3,500 to carry into space.

Why not something like a Mora? They already have pretty blue colors, anyway.

LC200N would certainly be the best steel choice. Corrosion in space is not good, and the steel was designed with spaceflight in mind for NASA.

yeah, call me old school, but I think a guard shouldn't be thicker than the blade stock... something has always bothered me about knives that do that

Space Force is no joke. In XX century battlefields you needed to achieve air superiority to have an edge in battle. In the XXI century you need Space Superiority. Think of all the critical communications and weapon systems, drones, etc. that are managed via satellite. You lose the satellites you could lose the war. You could even bring about chaos in the enemy country(think about cellphones, gps, etc). As far as the knife... well kinda silly. I'd think a multi-tool would be more useful.

at zero gravity, its seriously missing
an important feature - a wrist lanyard hole

but i guess the space force range is
a private non'spec. venture by ka-bar.

Sky is blue , but space is black .

So here's me space blackout knife .

To stab through space suits / helmets and pry open enemy ships :

Even if the rest of this paragraph is true, Space Force is a joke.

I thought that you guys dealt with the Klingons back in the 70's ! ................ I almost grabbed that size Warcraft. Kind of wished I did now.

You can still get that medium size , just not the biggest one .

Ka-Bar might be trying to reproduce Boker's Dessert Warrior success, and if so, I wish them the best at it!
