Kabars Space Force Knife

You can still get that medium size , just not the biggest one .
Ya I was watching my preferred vendor trying to decide a final buy until the C.S. malarkey finalizes. I just missed that Warcraft. 35% disappointed. Oh well. I still have machetes that I bought three years ago and haven't used yet.

Now isnt this a fun thread? much nicer than the 50 pages of fighting and insanity on that cold steel sold thread. We needed this..

Do we have any Space Cadets on the forums?

n2s

Not a cadet, but I did transfer over to Space Force in September. It would seem they are going with calling us "Guardians". I guess it could be worse :P

I did pick up one of the folding knives from Kabar because it was listed as being US made on BladeHQ but I am finding other sites are saying it is made in Taiwan. We will see when it arrives.KA5698SFn.jpg

Taiwan is a democratic country and are our allies. If that knife is made in Taiwan you should have no qualms about owning and using it. I understand wanting to buy us made gear, I try to as well, but I just built 2 computers for me and my wife and I tried to source parts not made in China which is not easy! It's not possible for all parts, but there are made in Taiwan parts out there (ASRock).

Good luck out there, Guardian, thank you for your service. I'll be supremely jealous if you get to fly an x-wing! :D

I bought both knives and yes the small folder is made in Taiwan where as the fighting knife is made in the U.S.A. I think both should have been made in the U.S since it's a branch of the U.S military but they're novelty so it's not the biggest of deals.

Oh yah, it is not a deal breaker but I was hoping. :) Always like US made stuff but I do understand the world economy.

Now if only we got X-Wings. Instead, we will all probably be picking up space trash at some moon outpost lol :P
