I am going down with the ship! This knife is far better than I realized. It is worth having on its own regardless of the sinking of the Forum Knife.

After seeing those photos, I couldn't resist any longer. They were sold out of 10 Effiles in padouk, so I got a No. 8. But it will be an MV Porchantic in Dancing Script.

I've never got one of the forum knives unfortunately. Something with nicer legs always comes through when I'm in money spending mode. I'd buy this with "bladeforums" stamped in it.



I wouldn't mind one of these either.. if they'll make a run so soon after doing it.

I'm spazzin out a little right now cause I just saw this picture.. I've never seen a 64. That might take the cheetahs spot as my favorite traditional and I've never even handled one. I'd trade at a massive loss for one of those.

Unfortunately (fortunately?) GEC just made a run of the beer and sausage knives too. Her is my example from that run just released. Boy do I wish it was a blade forums knife too.

I'm glad there are people who remember all the runs they do and when. I can't keep up with all the companies I like and their weird batch runs. I should start a damn spreadsheet lol.

Lol, I know what you mean. I usually don’t have that close of an eye on it, but managed to spot a pattern I have always wanted at just the right time.

I wish I'd run into a streak of luck like that. Seems like I always just barely miss stuff I want, and then have to pay like a 20% secondary markup on it.

after being on a rope knife reading frenzy this past while it has dawned on me that outside of 2015 gec hasn't put out a rope knife so why not a forum knife,and for nostalgic reasons put a file with it,I have not Been able to find a gec with a nail file,something I use alot more than a fork or golf tee,in fact a file is a necessity in a knife collectors world especially for me,I leave my thumb nail on my knife opening hand a touch longer to engage nail nicks and it gets smushed of cracked which then needs repairing with the file.

With four months remaining in 2025, that's going to be a very fine needle to thread. I personally do not think it's happening, unless you do as others here have done and order something else and have it engraved. I do not think there will be a GEC made Forum knife in 2025.
