Keith Johnson Knives

Congrats, G! That looks tremendous.

Keith, I love this Backpocket! You are really doing some great work.

I just sent this one off to it's new home today. It's my first backpocket. 4" closed, CTS-XHP stainless blade, Integral bolsters/liners, fluted and threaded bolsters, ivory covers.

Keith,

I would like a sodbuster made for me. Can I get on your list for one. Definately like the yellow color. Please contact me...thanks.

Haven't received it yet but Keith just completed my long awaited full-size Coke Bottle LB. As always Keith was a pleasure to work with - I wish I lived closer so I could hang out with him! Thanks Keith.

5 3/8 closed, 9 3/8 open
CP154
Double shield
Long pull
Westinghouse Lemony Ivorite Micarta with black trim/spacers
Washers instead of mill relieved liners
Fluted bolster

I really like that one Kirk.

I can't tell from the pictures, but is it elephant ivory or ivory micarta?

Thanks Waggle - it's paper based Westinghouse Ivorite from the late 80s (I was told by the gentlemen I got it from). I'm told it will retain the current color (which is what I wanted) and Keith was shocked at how closely it resembled Ivory.

That's what I thought it was.

It looks like there's a black liner behind it?

I REALLY like how the black scale spacer lines matches the long pull line on the blade in the closed position - fantastic combo! Congrats, Kirk1963! Looks like a sweet knife to carry and use.

Keith,

This is fabulous, love the black liners and wanted to get your impression of washers vs. milled liners.

Thanx, Jeff

I think washers give the knife a cleaner look. The trade off is that the blade must be ground thinner to allow room for the washers.
