I think that is amazing to see. I can doodle on a piece of paper but I can't recreate a masterpiece. I think the skill to be able to do this is amazing. Thanks for sharing.

That is very beautiful and very classy! I really enjoyed seeing it go together.
 
Thank you, Campbell. This one is a very special knife for me since it is my first custom traditional knife! ...and a split backspring, no less! :eek:

One of my favorite Case patterns. Looks like it has found a good home. Congrats.

Edited to add, Campbell, I was gone when your cotton sampler was finished up. Super knife and I know that pattern means a lot to you.

Jake,

I hope you give-in to temptation and give the whittler some pocket time! This knife was one of those very memorable knives to build for a variety of reasons. I am glad also it found a good home.
 
Another great knife from Ken. I'm enjoying my newly acquired single blade Sowbelly. I hope to be able to pick up another one or two in the future.

Ken, that is such a beautiful knife, I love the bone.

Jake, you would be crazy not to carry it.
 
Thought I'd post these up. Top to bottom...Case/Bose Collab, Tony Bose, Ken Erickson, Remington. You can see the difference in Tony's pattern (based on an old Ka-Bar) and Ken's pattern (based on the Remington). Also, you can see the difference in thickness. The thicker handle makes the knife very comfortable to hold (and use if I decide to use it).

Interesting group shot. From a maker's standpoint it is enjoyable to see the small and subtle differences in knives of the same pattern. Thanks for posting!
 
Here is a stockman, the largest I have built to date. This knife is a full 4 1/8 closed and 3 5/8 oz.
CPM154-cm, my dyed and jigged bone. I wanted to jig this in a style reminiscent of Schrade peach seed jigging. Threaded bolsters, pinned federal shield.Thanks for looking!

Never met a stockman who would not be proud to have that Stockman in his pocket. Very nice Ken. I like the bigger size. Sometimes when wearing gloves etc. that little bit of extra size comes in mighty handy.
