A black day for the knife community.
To think that 3-4 months of his design and sweat, and God given talent went into what Airport security made him check into baggage to lose is a nightmare.
One can only imagine how Ken must feel. From his mind to finished blade is a process most of us could never even dream of completing. He had his dreams and income stolen from him by some overpaid baggage handler.
Thanks again to terrorism and changing the face of our world forever.
Ten years ago he would have had them on his lap the whole flight. And been smoking a cigarette at the same time!
I am attending a blade show in Janesville WI this Saturday and I will bring these pictures with me to distribute to other makers in case they did not see this post. It's all I can think to do by myself to raise awareness of this theft. At least the participants at this weekends show will have a copy of the stolen blades. And God knows how tight this community is when one brother is hurt we all hurt. So I wish a speedy recovery of Kens knives and a happy ending. There will always be other shows to sell at.But only one set of those knives.
Let's all keep spreading the word so the thief can't sell them for pocket change and get away with it.
Supporting Ken in the only way I can,
Peace.
