She has the liners, yes, and the pivot, she is very strong and the D2 steel is justaright. :D

It's bad karma to speak of cost but it's justaright too. Too bad it's sold eh.

Wait a minute, you must mean those people from East Tennessee. That's big orange country. Here in West Tennessee, is Tiger country. They like football, Tennessee, and Orange. We like basketball, Memphis, and Blue. Big difference.

Remember, there are three stars on the Tennessee flag for a reason.

if it's right then I'm happy  ( Kerry didn't see you posted it sorry ...)
liners and beefy pivot are a good thing!

I can see one like that in my hands, looks too good and begs to be used

See the service we provide here? It's all about education.:cool:

They ain't hardly got no hills in Memphis, no ridges, no mountains. I am not convinced they are part of 10-uh-C in the first place. It is pretty darn flat over there.
(well 'cept for the bbq and blues.) :D

You made me think of something that is a good point to mention. I use a 3/16" OD bronze/aluminum pivot bushing. The sides of the liners press against the bushing and not the blade. This allows for more inward pressure to be applied when peining the pivot pin and the result... the pivot is very strong on these shadow knives.

even better! sounds more of a user knife than a show piece
is the bushing like the washers used in OH knives?

again I apologize for the price asking, didn't see it was your post ;(

Don't need no hills when ya got a river as big as an ocean. Glad y'all like our bbq, though....it is mighty nice, as is the music.

The bushing is like the washer used on the outside of the handles for the pivot "bolster".

I imagine that knife could also have a nice reception in Syracuse given the status of orange there.

The Tennessee/orange mention reminds me of senior year of college when the Vols came to the Carrier Dome for a football game. The UT fans showed up in good numbers and their wicked bright orange gear on top of the usual SU orange crowd did some serious damage to my retinas. I had to drink a few beers to get over it and focus on the game. ;)

WAIAAAT A MINNNNNUTE you forgot About the OKLAHOMA STATE orange:D!!!

Wooo Hoo GOOO Pokes!!!

Oh yea that is a REALLY fine ORANGE knife!!:p
Great job Kerry!!

You're right, we have to include OK State. They'll go with orange jerseys and pants, which is just a feast for the eyes. :D
