What do ya think of a wife who would pick up the mail including a box from Wilfred Works and then vanish for five hours? I finally got it in my paws now and it is beautiful, razor sharp and gonna get used as a knife. Imagine that. Somehow that's what happens to all of my "slippies" as they call 'em now. It fits in each of my pockets just right. That's the way to avoid the hassle of having to get any permission slips signed by the MAN at WW. I can imagine what my Grandfather would have said had he thought I'd carry a knife in a purse and I can't repeat it here. His Daddy fought in the Civil War so you can figure out pretty fast he didn't carry no purse for a knife.

Thanks Kerry!

Great knife and just 'cause a punkin is orange don't mean it grows in TN.

Sounds kind of like my wife, only she hid mine and I had to bribe one of my daughters to tell me where!

Congrats to you both, looks real nice.:thumbup:

Except of course for that god-awful color:thumbdn: ;)
Maybe Kerry will make me one in Bulldog Red.

No comment on what people from Tennessee are into.
Well East Tennessee is all about Football, Pretty Girls, Fireworks, Moonshine, more Pretty Girls, Food and Knives and Church. Not a bad life. Can't say about the rest of the State. Wouldn't be proper to do so. :D Orange and White are UT's colors and Orange is worn thru-out the State on Game Day.
Nice knife.

Well, the man known as Kerry Hampton has done it again! This time, after a wait of almost 20 months or so (who's counting?), I am the lucky recipient this time.

Originally I was going to get a single blade WT with some antique peachseed bone but after much correspondence with Kerry, some waffling on my part a couple of times, and some good suggestions from Kerry, it was changed to a serpentine frame trapper with what Kerry described as a chocolate brown jiiged bone. I am a coffee drinker so when given the choice I picked the bone that most reminded me of delicious dark roasted coffee beans. I spent some time on the phone with Kerry and he's heck of a lot of fun to work with plus I learned a lot from him about knives from our short talks.

The knife is 3 1/2" closed and it has ATS-34 or CPM-154 blade and springs (not sure which steel Kerry ended up choosing). Hopefully I'll have it in hand by the end of the week. I am very thankful for the opportunity to own one of Kerry's creations and this will mark a great end to the year.

So, without further adieu, I present to you the Kerry Hampton Dark Roasted Coffee Serpentine Trapper!

Nice choice, Luciano! Delicious really - sweet yet bitter:rolleyes:, a hint of licorice, and subtle earthy notes; plain yummy!!!:D
Wonderful concoction, from Wilfred.
My complements to the chef!!

Beautiful knife Luciano. Congratulations to both you and Kerry.
That is a special one. First one out the door since Kerry's new grandchild. (I think)

I try to refrain from going to Starbucks but any good excuse will do. I think this qualifies!
Congrats Luciano! Another one out of the park Kerry!

Thanks y'all! I didn't know Kerry was a grandpa! Paw paw Hampton will probably spoil the kid. :)

Fantastic knife! The scales are just right and that thing looks like it will cut like a laser. Congrats to both on a real winner.

You are correct, sir. Born the day after Thanksgiving, two days before my Bday. :D

Fabulous knife Luciano! You and Kerry made some great decisions about what to build and Kerry did a great job of executing the design. You will love it!

And Kerry, congratulations on the new addition to your family! She's beautiful!
