I have to agree. Everything is right about the Rogers and those fancy Waynorth knives, but I am certain I don't have to tell you that.T
Kerry, these (1st pic) were inspired by the Joseph Rodgers (2nd and 3rd pics)!!
I think the pattern is a GREAT among many!!
Thanks, Kerry!! Glad we see eye to eye!!I have to agree. Everything is right about the Rogers and those fancy Waynorth knives, but I am certain I don't have to tell you that.![]()

KHlamb FootMore fine Swayback straights, are we expecting a KHlamb Foot![]()
Thank you for sharing those quite amazing examples. Beautiful things.Same Joseph Rodgers pattern with a "square" finish, and two blades!!
AmenKHlamb Footwill definitely be a thing. I'm diggin' the "bad" influence y'all have on me and it's sweet being back in the saddle. I worked my last full day yesterday. 3-half days next week and will be burning vacation days to the end of the year. The calendar is blank after Dec. 31, 2022....Lord willing and the creek don't rise.

And that Stag....just DThat IXL is crazy nice!
Amazing!! Way to pull through, Kerry!!Back in 2009 or thereabouts I approached Kerry (@KnifeHead ) about building a Remington R4466 which is an equal-end Bullet knife, 3 5/8" closed and called a "Muskrat".
You're welcome, of course. PSA: I wouldn't recommend leaving an equal end knife open like this for longer than it takes to shoot a pic. Double loading the spring is bad over time and could result in blahblahblahblah.Well, it took a while but some things are worth waiting for. Back in 2009 or thereabouts I approached Kerry about building a Remington R4466 which is an equal-end Bullet knife, 3 5/8" closed and called a "Muskrat". For reasons which Kerry enumerates here, he decided that he was not completely satisfied with the way the knife turned out and decided to keep it. I don't mind telling you that it caused me some pain and consternation at the time...but I eventually got over it.
Today, however, I am happy to report that the "Young Pup" finally came through and surprised me with this wonderful gift for the holidays. (Either that or the Post Office simply took 13 years to deliver.)
I can't tell you what it means to have this knife in my hands after all these years, and it is simply beautiful. The stag is to die for, and it weighs 3 1/8 oz. on my scale. It may not be perfect, but it's perfect for me.
I was going to take pix, but Kerry's are so much better than I could ever do that I'll just post 'em up here.
Thank you, Kerry...it was a great surprise and a wonderful gift. I can't believe it was 13 years ago that we got together on this project. I'll treasure it always.
Even Kerry's images don't do it justice, so if I manage to get some decent shots with my iPhone, I'll add them to the thread.

That looks fabulous! I'm very jealous. Thanks guys. I appreciate the good words. Kerry really has brought the spirit of the holidays home with this unexpected gift. Thank you for thinking of me, my friend.
Just ran out on the porch, (it's overcast outside), to see if I could give a better idea of just how nice the stag is. My photography skills are lacking, but you get the idea:
