Kerry Hampton Knives

Anthony, it's 3 3/4 closed. I didn't have anything to do with the knife other than asking Kerry if it was sold to someone. It just happened that he was already making this one and then decided to try the new bolsters.

The Lanny's pattern is about all you could ask for in a stout but easily pocketable single blade slipjoint.

Mike,

That is a fantastic looking pair. Looks like they are supposed to be together.

Sweet job Kerry!

The Lanny’s clip came today and of course it exceeded my expectations. Really smooth action in all three positions and if there’s anything amiss with the new “Sheffield” bolsters I sure can’t see it. (Although it will be a while before I will be able to purge the the mental image of Tony and Kerry whackin' the tar out of it to get the first pin out.)

I'm really looking forward to seeing more knives out of WW with the rattail bolsters.

I love the pattern, swedges, grinds, shield, rattail bolsters and stag, and it came with a wicked edge on it. Thank you very much, Kerry.

Pictured next to the WT that Kerry made last year.

GOOD ON YOU, MIKEY!;)
WAY KHEWL, KHERRY!!!;)

What a pleasure to view these beautiful traditional knives. Mike, that one is in good hands amigo. Hat's off to you and Kerry!

Finished this one up yesterday...15th Khnutbuster. It's made with A2, etched, and has some sweet Case Antique Bone on it. I made this for a fellow forum member for the occasion of his upcoming wedding and stamped the inside of the liner with his wedding date.

The etched look with contrasting blade/spring/stainless steel liners is starting to be a habit with me. I like the looks of it and it really gives the knife a folksy, old timey warmth.

Nicely done on a variety of levels, Kerry!:cool:

Just another great knife from a great maker, Congrats to Kerry and new owner.

Isn't that beautiful. What a great wedding gift.

Yeah, but what's the bride get ?

I really like the etch finish. It looks like a nicely patinaed vintage knife, and would be especially nice combined with the rat-tailed bolsters on the LC.

Nothing I hate more than a bright, highly polished blade on a new knife.

Those last couple are outstanding Kerry !:thumbup::thumbup:
