Kerry Hampton Knives

Whoa! That's a <banging | awesome | mind-blowing | magnifique> BP! The ball-hitch-with-danglers shield is trendy!

Very Khulu indeed!
And Kerry, you're a stag-slicin' man!!;)

Kerry,
this is beautiful! IMHO the zulu spear blade goes very well with the BP and the etched blade is a nice contrast to the stag. And I'm a huge fan of flush joints.
Perfect.
How does the etching develop after the knife has been used for a while?
Does it scratch easily?

Peter

P.S.: I like 'KHULU'

Kerry.that is really nice.What a beauty!

Scratches show up pretty easy. The blade will patina with use as well.

Kerry that is a nice looking knife along with the stag. I have been working on some ground finish on my blades and I'm liking it. Keep up the good work.

Now that the knife has made its way to me, I thought I should share an in-hand picture and brag on Kerry a little bit. We had a couple of snags in the design and construction of this knife, but I literally could not be happier about how it turned out. I know that a lot of y'all know this already, but Kerry is a great guy, and I'm proud to have an example of his work.

Thanks again, Kerry.

Thanks for the kind words and thoughts. Hope you had a great birthday.

That makes 3 knives now that have made it to their destination on the new owner's birthday. It's a fluke guys...don't get any bright ideas. :p

Nice Khnutbuster!
Great pointyness in that blade compared to the Case version.

I bet I am not the only one who would like to see a Case/Hampton Sod Buster collaboration project.

Kerry it seems you were in a love mood when you made this knife so maybe you should share some of that bone. I,m just kidding you. I really like the knife that it is so simple and clean that really cathes my eye. I feel that knives should be like really beautiful women that they do not need to wear make up because they are already beautiful and it would only take away some of their beauty. Nice knife Kerry and keep up the good work.
