Kershaw 1595 G10 Tactical Speed Bump New Model Bump?

Got mine in, and the only thing i did to it was bend the pocket clip a little, and sand the G10 texture smooth to facilitate easier removal from my pocket. I simply started at 1550 grit and then went 220/400/600/800/1200/2000. Now i'll use it for awhile then probably resand it better and use a buffer to put a nice shine to it. The way it sits now, you can see a nice weave texture/pattern in the G10 almost like a carbon fiber.
 
I just got mine today along with my leek. Two awesome knives to score as the first in my collection! I'm stoked!!

So you're pretty new to Kershaws then? I've been trying to find someone to give a Kershaw to. I got one from Thomas not too long ago, and I want to pay it forward in light of the whole giveaway spirit he's into. Hello all, I am new to the forum. I got my Bump about 3 weeks ago from Amazon and it is an awesome knife. I am used to the liner locks so the locking mechanism took some getting used to. Great modern look to her! Gotta love a new razor sharp Kershaw right out the box. If you didn't get one, you should have. :D

Awesome! Pm sent! I never mind gifts and I don't complain :)
I am so bitten by the knife bug and I blame this forum! I brought my new knives to work today (I deliver juice to stores) and showed them off to some people and a bunch of people started showing me their various knives they carry! I never knew these people had knives! One guy had the same leek!
(EDIT to add- gee I sounds excited from all those exclamation points!!!:)

I already love it! I guess I should've known elves like knives, too. What a great Christmas... Reminds me of when I was a kid and we always had to ask dad for his knife to get into packages.
 
Damn i missed out.. Really wanted one of these as my first kershaw knife. Guess ill have to get a skyline for my first.
 
I know leeks are good knifes, but for me i just cant seem to come to terms with the blade shape. YMMV
 
The speedbumps will be floating around for a while yet, just at a higher price :grumpy:
 
At the end of the run on these they closed them out for $29.59 on a Lightning Deal. If people still need some I think KershawGuy bought a few dozen extra.
 
I know this is a old thread. But I just noticed Amazon has these again. I bought one from Kershawguy a long time ago and love it. just did a search to read about them again and found Amazon shows them in stock. i ordered another one because it is a great deal. they are selling for $49.99. Now where did these come from?

Update: By what I have read in the reviews on Amazon, some have pointed out this new batch are made in China. If this is true, I am going to be furious with both Kershaw and Amazon. At Kershaw for doing it. If they wanted to make some in China, that is their right. But it should not be the same exact model number. To not to deceive people with what they are getting. And Amazon for not changing their description, pictures, or reviews from the previous USA version. That is just wrong. I thought of cancelling my order, but I want to see it for myself. I feel like I have been deceived. Tricked. Even ripped off. And if true, it really hurts that Kershaw, a company I have loved, respected, and even recommended would do such a thing. You may think I am wrong. Or ever making a mountain out of a mole hill. But it is how I feel right now.
