Kershaw Factory Sale 2013

The prices are already dropping. I watched as the gal lowered prices of shirts and hats in front of me. You will see them with price guns lowering most things tomorrow. First ones get the pick. Last ones get the best prices if there is anything they want left. If you're willing to wait, you can get good prices on what you want. Last year I wanted a composite blade Leek but they only had a few and were sold out in first part of day 1. This year they have boxes of them on the table and it's day 2 of the sale. I picked one up for $30. And I splurged on a ZT0350TS for $69 to be used as a loaner on hunting trips.
 
Just to reiterate, if anyone is going tomorrow and can grab a 0770 blem I would love to buy it, plus shipping, plus some extra for your trouble!
 
Grabbed a few things myself today. The two main blades were the Camp14 and a Hinderer 0560! Didn't go overboard this year but I got some great buys! One more day Sunday if you can make it :)
 
Wow. Gotta say, I am suuuper jealous right now. I would really like to go there.

I was disappointed to find out I couldn't talk with customer service yesterday due to the sale.

I've been wanting to get a ZT0560 Hinderer or maybe a ZT030x (definitely if they were $96!!) but been hesitant to spend over $200 on a pocket knife. Oh well, too far away and I didn't even know they did this!

I may or may not be in one or more of your blurry pictures. Plenty of 0560/1s for $115, plenty of 0300/1s for $125, plenty of 0350's including the aluminum handle exclusive for $69 as of closing time today, I was told more magical boxes will be out first thing tomorrow. No more 0801s, there never were any 0801bw, nor does that model exist AFAIK, no more 0770s or 0566s, no more of the 0780s, there were about 50 Ripcords on Friday but none left this afternoon, 0350ORs are all gone along with the $99 ZT-9 bayonets, I believe there were some 0100s, 0160s and 0170s yesterday morning that had disappeared by the end of the day today. There are still lots of Kershaw USA blades including a few in retail packages with full warranty, Scallions for under $20, Leeks for $20, except the composite blade which cost $30, Blurs for $29, S30V blurs for $39, Whirlwind/Blackouts for $19, Shallots for $19... lots of imports in retail packages with warranties, including the Cryo for $15.

I didn't really look at the Shun stuff, but it was starting to look a little picked over.

If you missed the sale, don't worry many of the blems will start showing up at certain dealer sites that are known to sell the blem blades, I know Kershawguy is one I'm allowed to mention and he's always got blems available at prices just slightly higher than the warehouse sale prices.


Edit: I agree posting the photos was a little irresponsible, KAI is kind enough to let you into the factory and you ignore the sign on the door that says photo/video equipment is prohibited. I did see plenty of people taking pics with their phones but I don't know that anybody else posted pictures on the internet, most of the people I saw taking pictures were taking pictures of a single knife to send to a friend or relative so they could get a thumbs up or thumbs down to purchase the knife. If KAI wants those pictures out there, they'll have their people put the photos on their social media pages.

Registers are blocking the bay doors UPS probably can't pickup or drop off anything because the doors are blocked. I'm sure the knife will go out first thing Monday morning. Or it may have gone out thursday and UPS hasn't accurately updated the tracking, I've had packages show up without any tracking information available through UPS, once it's delivered it takes a day or two for the tracking to show up and then it shows that the package traveled from the east coast to the west coast in under 30 minutes without ever passing through a single hub.
