It sure looks like you have all the Impotant ones , is the second one from the bottom in the middle row a 1660SS ?

I have met a number of the people that work there and I am pretty sure that they would respond to a constructive email. Give it a try, you may be pleasantly surprised. :) :)

Big Z nice collection. I have been thinking about a Splinter 1460, is it a good edc knife?

Yes,they are very nice especialy the wood quince handle, built just as nice as the Leeks but with no speed assist.Wish there were more handle designs

Robert: The only one that im missing that i want is the green smoked handled one....until a new one comes out:D

Hershaw guy: Yes that is the polished stainless model.

i am sooo pissed i cant make it to the after thanksgiving kershaw thing.

i got more pressing engagements unfortunately:grumpy: :grumpy: :grumpy: :grumpy:

Gakker, not a big fan of our site either. Our new site is getting very close, hopefully it will be up in the next 10-14 days.

It will be nice to see more studlocks.

IMHO it is the best lock on the market - for sure most convinient. It was one of the biggest (after speed safe) innovation introduced by Kershaw for the industry but for some reason instead of just put it on all models - as Benchmade did with axis, you not really taking advantage of it - but it has great potential to be Kershaw-Loch as Axis is Benchmade-Lock. I will love to see ZT300 with studlock as well as Avalanche and Cyclone and Boa and Grand Leek (4" Leek if possible)...

Will it be more models with stud-lock?

Thanks, Vassili.

Thanks Thomas, I'll keep a look out for the new site. Surfing that tiny site really bites. :barf:

I purchased a 1660ST Leek a few weeks ago and have quickly become a Kershaw fan. It's a serious knife with kind of a gentleman's folder look. Perfect for my needs as an EDC knife.

Can anyone clue me in on the serration design? My blade is dated Aug 06 but the serrations are different than on other Leeks I've seen. Mine looks more like the serrations on the Cyclone (on Kershaw web site). Is this a new pattern for the Leek?

I wasn't really a big Kershaw fan until I bought a used ZT300. Wow, the speedsafe on that thing was perfect ( I say was because it was a little big for my pocket so I let it go). Great fit and finish. Awesome blade. I'm really excited about new additions to the ZT line.

That is called Scalloped serration versus Aggresive Serration. It works well and tends to snag less.

Big Z: I thought I was sick! Your leek collection puts mine to shame!

I am looking forward to a 'super Leek' myself one day. Its one of my fantasy knives. The same knife slightly beefier, longer, larger overall and chunky all around vs the slimline version out now would be my pref but then a longer handle with thicker ti would be a good start too. Just whatever you do keep that great blade shape the same. Thats the best thing about that knife IMO. The blade is just hard to argue with as far as usefulness.

Thanks for the info nygiantsfan. The serrations work great, just different from what I've seen before.

STR, I'd second a 'Super Leek'.

Nice collection. Please what model is the Kershaw 3rd from the top right? It's a Bump, but what model? On a recent trip to the US I didn't see any of those in any of the shops I visited. I have the Spec Bump, but I like a manual opener and I have reservations about the tiny spring in the blade which locks the knife open. Thanks.

Yeah, I think it was Vasilli that asked for a 30% bigger Leek. I thought that would be the perfect knife. I want one too.... Ti ZDP
