ooooo more goodies. im hoping (prolly stupidly) that i will find a zt knife at the knife show im going to this sat. rainbow groove......:D i like that idea. cant wait to see

You know, I would really love to see a pic of the back of the NRG. I don't need anything fancy, I just want to see what kind of clip you guys are going with on this one.

The clip on the NRG's is still being developed, so there are no images to post at this time. Soon though.
 
I got a Needs Work the other day, pretty darn good knife for the money, I think it would be amazing to see a larger version with S30V and G-10, love the basic design
 
I don't really think this deserves its own thread, but I have a question about a couple of my Kershaws. I have an Akulon Speed Bump and a Blur. I have seen them both marketed as 440A and 13C26. Which is it? Both are stamped Jan07.
 
The move to 13c26 has been announced, and thereby in print/marketing, but I'm not sure if they've started production yet. And ya, with a jan07 stamp I'd say 440A.

Thomas promised that he'd let us know when the new steel is being used.
 
I rarely post on BF, but since there is a Kershaw thread, hello! I just got a new Speed Bump. This is a really neat knife. It works perfectly. I have an Outcast and a JYD II, as well. I love the looks and blade shape of the JYD II, but it is slooooow. Any plans to make an assisted opening version?

Your Blur will is made from 440A, and your Speed Bump is from 13C26.

Horn, you need to build up that finger strength I guess ;) . The JYD II is faster in my hands that any of our AO's. No plans on a AO version, sorry.
 
Thomas, once they ship would it be possible for you to let us know who has the rainbow grooves? I'm shure they wouldnt mind a few hundred customers sent there way. =P BTW got a JYD, great knife! Just the right size for a small pocket knife but with plenty of blade for the package. Unlike some I think the pocket clip looks great and more importantly feels good. I LOVE the lack of thumbstud as it is not needed. Kudos on a great colaberation!

Oh, well. That is why I bought the Speed Bump to replace it. I just like the JYD 2 blade shape a little better, but I can only get it half-way open with one hand. Thanks for answering. I guess, "A man has got to know his limitations", as Dirty Harry would say.
 
My zt0301 just arrived in the mail and I'm curious: does the torsion bar "rattle" for anyone else? I took it all apart (beautiful and simple!) and it looks fine, but with the blade fully open it definitely rattles around in there. Do I already need new torsion bars?
