Kershaw starting Sprint Runs!

Added one to the cart on a whim, and got all the way to checkout before realizing that it's $148 shipped to me in CA.

I wanted one to test vs. my 14c28n model as a test of Kershaw's heat treat, but I'll probably wait to see one pop up on the secondary market.

It would be nice if they offered free shipping on a knife that’s $129, like every dealer out there. Literally.

That seems really high for shipping. By CA, do you mean Canada or California? Do you normally get free shipping from retailers like Blade Forums?

I imagine he means after tax and shipping. I live in WA and my total was the same price he posted, with almost $12 of that going to state sales tax and $6 for shipping.

A free shipping option would be cool, but I can't fault them for charging sales tax. States have really been cracking down on out of state businesses that do over a certain amount of amount of sales in their state. Sometimes you just gotta pay the taxman.

Personally... I think the price Kershaw is asking (even after tax and shipping) is an absolute steal for what we are getting.

I had no problem paying the tax and shipping. It's unfortunate, but we're starting to have to pay tax on online orders here and there, so I'm not going to complain. 6 bucks shipping, yea they probably could have made it free but no big deal. I love the Bareknuckle and I've been wanting a CF model for a while. A better 0770cf imo. I do wish it was more the size of the Natrix XL, which was the original size of the 0777, but I'm OK with it being slimmer. I have 3 Bareknuckles already (one 14c28n, 2 20cv models), so I'm happy to pay for the cf and m390.

Everyone's different though. I can't wait to hear what it sounds like. Love the *ting* of the aluminum version. This one should go *thock* similar to the 0770cf. We shall see...

Just checked tracking, and it's already out for delivery! From Oregon to Mississippi in 2 days. Outstanding considering I only got the cheapest shipping! I'll be back home tonight, before coming back to chattanooga tomorrow morning.

Same here but Oregon to Connecticut in 2 days on cheapest shipping.

California. Most retailers offer free shipping, yeah.

For me, the price to my door is just too high for something with the quality control of a Kershaw. I've had three bareknuckles and only one was what I'd call acceptable.

This knife is dope. It got to me quickly. I totally dig it’s opening action. I’m glad I ordered it.

Very nice! More pics appreciated... mine won't be here until Saturday :( That certainly looks like ZT's CF, which one of my favorites.

The 20cv Bareknuckle is my favorite Kershaw to date. The OG version I had was ruined by a super strong detent and lockbar. However, the 20cv version has no issues and I'm hopeful the CF version is the same. My only gripes are the pointy as hell clip, and they way they cut through half the blade for the stop pin path.

I wonder if anyone is making standoffs for the Bareknuckle just yet...?

The Blur standoffs are a direct fit for the first two screws. Unfortunately the third already has it's own "standoff". Not the most elegant, but it works for people that prefer an open back.

Mine just arrived. Love it, though one of the screws on the back has some of the black rubbed off. Disappointing since the knife is new and it’s not really a screw that can be replaced, I believe it’s pressed into the cf and the show side screw threads into it.

Mine came in today. :)

Action is fantastic, as is the detent. I was expecting this knife to excel in both these areas and it does not disappoint. It feels great. The carbon fiber is excellent! It's the same carbon fiber with the same finish as what is used on the Kershaw Leek CF. I wish more companies would use carbon fiber like this... I think it's the best out there. The grind is great. Much more even than I have been seeing on knives lately. The heel of the knife has a bit of a burr, but the rest of the edge is very sharp. Centering very slightly favors the mark side, you have to really look to notice it though. The sub-frame lock is slightly stiff. I've been flipping the knife for the last hour and my thumb is getting a bit tired, lol. Ergonomics are really, really good. I had a copper Natrix so I had some idea of what to expect, but this is even better than I thought it would be. Even with my small hands, the handle feels like it was made for me. The blade feels really long. I usually prefer a blade around three inches, so the extra length might be a deal breaker for me. I'm going to carry it for the next few days at work though and try to give it a shot. All in all, terrific release by Kershaw in my opinion, I am very pleased!

I can't wait to see what's next!
