Kershaw Tilt...again.

Wow that video makes me really excited for my buddy droppoint to get one, i cant wait to handle it! Its crazy fast! Cant even see the blade move in the video when its fliced open.

The black coated blade sort of ruined it for me. I've had one pre-ordered a long time and I suppose I'll not cancel, but the black blade? Yuck.:barf: Just cheapens the look in comparison, to what I thought I was getting.

Showed one around the show today. Lot's of positive vibes comments came its way.

Just to be downright evil here, did you have the first prototype with the blue anodize and uncoated blade? I would show them side by side and see which one is the winner;). No offense to Lord Vader.

The original proto's we're left in pieces once R&D got through with them, and are unfortunately beyond revival. I'm pushing the production version here at the show.

"The force is strong with this one."

I agree with this...Sort of. I don't think it totally ruined it for me. I think it makes it look like a much less expensive knife. However, like how its all blacked out now. If it was a coated blade and blue handles, I would probably re-sell it once i recieved mine. I would love to get my hands on one of those proto blades to put in mine! :D....Thomas? haha ;)

Glad to hear its doing well at the show. Has the total run number been decided on yet?

Well, I personally care less about looks and more about scuff resistance(scuffed titanium bugs the hell out of me), though I get the feeling that DLC coating and my sharpening skills aren't going to get along too well. Still, the coating has an interesting effect when cutting, almost like a non-stick coating on my frying pans. My only real concern about the knife is whether or not those thumbstuds are going to complicate sharpening.

I don't prefer any blade with coating, myself. I'd rather see the metal exposed. So, it's not just this model, just my preference.

I'm with Jill. I prefer a stonewashed, satin or otherwise "raw" finish on any knife. Shows use alot less that way. I still like the looks of the Tilt...just practically though, I'm not as happy that its coated. But yes, I agree, it does look BA!

All you coated nay-sayers, just go send yours out for a stonewash! :D

I'm totally with all matte black.

You have no idea how absolfreakinlutely unBALIEVABLE that looks! I like it even more in the Jet black!

I was gonna say wait til you see it person, but you probably have already, eh K&G??:D

I have to agree with Thomas......simply BA!! This knife is incredible in the hand, carries really comfy for it's size. It is not small! Wicked flipper. The KVT is like silk. It's dropping jaws in Atlanta for sure:thumbup:
