Kershaw Tilt...again.

So there's still a tiny bit of hope I could still get my very late pre-order? Got it in just before they stopped taking them. Fingers crossed...

Quick question, are the standoffs and liner that are on the Tilt Titanium? Just got one in the mail and this thing is a beast. :D

Thanks gundude, yours and CTS's video review on the Tilt are good stuff :)

I think I remember someone posting in this thread that the standoffs where Ti but still would like that confirmed.

Where's Thomas at anyway haha
 
i just checked with a magnet and the standoffs are non-magnetic. so they very well could be Ti.

Haha, I heard that man :). I've been searching through this thread for a good while, and I thought you of all people would of been the first person to have a Tilt. Or are you looking for a second? :D
 
tilt is well worth the wait. it really is a stunning knife.

ultra smooth. the knife will close under the blade's own weight (crazy)
for the size it is really lightweight
lock bar is cut at a 45 degree angle so you can't over extend it
the carbon fiber while smooth has a weave pattern that pops and catches the eye
very comfortable in the hand
clip looks like it belongs on the knife and will hold it in place for sure

even my friends who don't like knives want it after i show it to them. the tilt is one bad ass knife.

Haha. Not looking for a second. I was on pre-order with a site since August pretty much as soon as they started taking them but was told a few months ago "sorry, since they're so limited we won't be getting ANY". Then I placed a pre-order with Dave and just didn't get lucky with the first run. No biggie...I just hope I wasn't too late for the second run. :eek:
 
yeah, I really felt bad for ya when you were on pre order for nearly a year, and then all of a sudden they're just like "nope, sorry" talk about being up front and then getting moved back to the end of the line! :mad: There should be a free Tilt for the person who created this, what has become invaluable thread! :D


edit: just realized, your first post creating this thread was on 11-08-2010. Happy (belated) one year anniversary to this thread!! haha
 
Thomas, being that the Kershaw Tilt is a limited run, will there be any problems with the parts for warranty service, if in the unlikely event the problem ever arises?
