Kershaw Tilt...again.

Had to pass on my pre-order for the stonewashed Tilt as I was saving my cash for this years ECCKS (and my pp is f'ed up atm). Still satisfied with just having the black one though. Hopefully someone without a Tilt was able to get the one I passed on.
 
Just got the message that my Tilt shipped today! I got on the wait list very late so Im just psyched to get one. Happy days!
 
You and me both DawgSalt!! WHOOOO HOOOOOO!! I could not be happier as I had all but written this one off. To make it even better, the nice girl at KC said they did not have the black (which I originally pre-ordered) but they would send me a stonewashed. Totally stoked!! I also think that girl must think I'm a lunatic since I completely geeked out when she told me my Tilt was shipping today. :)
 
i love the tilt except the smooth lightly marred CF and the plain hardware. can anyone do some sort of jewelling or something to the pivot bolt head? it really bothers me on the back side of the stonewashed tilt to see a plain black oxide bolt. the bolt needs to be machine cut or anodized or...something. ive seen trix2004 do some drill tap marks on a zt301 that looked pretty cool, but the 3/8 head bolt on the zt has a lot more room to work with. anyone with ideas or offers to provide services please let me know. jaynick@live.com


and thanks thomas for letting us know the final RC. the vanax75 is a pretty cool steel. i wish more steels came with high nitrogen.
 
Me Too. Just got the e-mail that my Tilt shipped. Received the 0560 a couple of weeks ago. Overall I couldn't be more pleased.
 
With the prices I've seen on the secondary market I would say yes. The value of the knife is all up to you though.
 
Just got my SW version it. This one behaves totally different than the DLC version. It has a stronger detent, less friction on the pivot and the CF seems to be of higher QC.

My detent was very strong .......so strong I couldnt open it with one finger , so I sent it back to have Kershaw look at it.
I tried working in a couple hundred times but to no avail................ the BK version was good.
I just hated to have to send it back after that long wait to get it .....LOL

I got an email from knifecenter as well. They will ship my tilt today.
 
Found a tilt source today thanks to a member here on the forum. Good people like him make bf the place to be for blade aficionados. :D

Thats exactly how my two are, I currently have two more in the mail right now and I'm very curious to see if they are the same way.
The stonewashed is definitely looser than the black one & flips alittle easier, And the carbon fiber is nicer on the stone washed.
I will posted an up-date picture of the 4 together as soon as the other two get here.

I may have one more SW version coming in but right now it's only a hope. I really want a back-up so I can put one to good use.
