Kershaw Tilt...again.

Greetings, Thomas and fellow Tilt enthusiasts:

I remain one of the Tiltless. Perhaps I missed it, yet is there a limit to the number of these Kershaw will make? Yesterday I was too late to benefit from Williamb's helpful availability announcement, but if it were possible I would buy a stonewashed Tilt with haste equal to the KVT opening system.:) So please keep cranking them out!

Cheers,
Isaeus

Am I missing something here? What is so special about these? Design wise I find them to be quite hideous looking :(

A lot of people felt the same way about the original Porsche 356. To me the design came close to being too odd but everything about it fits and compliments its self. The more I see it the more I like it!

The design is a bit odd but once you get it in your hands everything clicks. I have used my DLC version plenty and has to be the top 2 most comfortable knives out of my collection.

To me, the design did seem a bit strange at first but it grew on me very quickly. I personally think Kershaw went above and beyond with executing such a unique design. The Tilt is in a class of its own which is a hard task to accomplish in the knife industry.

Or the Plymouth/Dodge SuperBirds

Thomas said 500 or so on post #951 unless I missed something (entirely possible).

Can't be. The black tilt alone was 205 pieces and the stonewash variant run will be twice as big at about 500. so that puts total output of tilts at 705 pieces. I read on a online retailers site that the final # is 1000 pieces. I was talking about the total and I assumed that is what Isaeus was asking about so that is why I answered 1k.

I prefer the SW version which I just received. The SW version seems to have better detent. The black I could easily shake out the blade. The SW I can't no matter how hard I try.
