Kershaw Tilt...again.

Can I get a clarification.

The Tilt DLC was the first run, of 500 or 1000?

So then they did the stonewashed version. Is it a run of 500 or 1000?

I haven't seen any SW versions over 250.

Is kershaw still making these or are they all done now and what's made was shipped?

I kinda thought there's is still about 750 SW versions still to be made and shipped.

Does anybody know. Just trying to judge when the mad rush to get a Tilt will start!?

I'm not positive, but I'm pretty sure they already shipped all the Tilts they're going to.
 
Thanks for the numbers Thomas...I bet the workers are glad the Tilt is done with, Been a crazy ride to get here.
 
Kershaw reminds me apple, putting out new cool stuff we must buy every year!
It's hard to keep up when there's so many great choices.

I've seen pictures of the sale lines around Christmas, looks like the new iPhone release.
0777 time should be interesting.

Hay after you guys get done playing with the 0777 M390 ugly duckling and they have been released, I would jump at the opportunity to purchase, trade, rent, or borrow it. Can I be put on that pre-order list. I would be proud to give it another life out and about instead of a drawer. I missed the first Volt n blems :(

I want it so I don't have to feel bad about using a 0777. At what point do production knives become usable artwork?
 
I just got both of my tilts...... No words can describe them so here is a picture of how I feel about them.

With demand as high as it is, why isn't Kershaw making more? They could cleanup. Instead it's the fleabay'ers and scalpers in the forums that are profiting from the demand. It kind of pisses me off since I really want one but would rather my money go to to the maker (Kershaw/Kai in this case). It just a matter of principle that I don't want to buy it from someone who is price gouging and making money from something they had nothing to do with the creation of.
 
Will someone tell me how long the cutting edge is in the Tilt?
Is the 4" blade measurement of the cutting edge or overall including the choil on the blade.
 
I just opened my second tilt and noticed it has been fondled by someone (not me) oil wiped off the blade, big greasy fingerprint on the scale, bubble wrap carelessly torn, o2 absorber missing, and faint scratches in the clear coat on the carbon scale. I know that I should be happy that I was lucky enough to get two but it still sucks.
 
Thanks for the numbers. Maybe they measure blade tip to furthest grip prostitution. Like puncturing depth. 3.6 cutting edge is pretty good.

Hay if anybody wants to trade a Tilt for a LionSpy plus cash, holler at me.
