Seller has just reached out and explained he was in hospital with a medical condition, and that all orders will be shipping out in the morning.

I have sent a DM to the seller, K kingdmx3 , with a CC: to our staff members, advising him to respond promptly to the charge that he has not fulfilled his obligation to the members who have sent money for knives and / or other goods. He has also been warned that his membership on the site is in jeopardy.

I hope that anyone who finds themselves in the same or similar situation with this seller, replies here.
 
Folks, I asked the member to open this thread so that other members who have sent money to the seller and have not received what they ordered can come forward.

If you are not one of those forum members, please don't use this thread to opine about the seller, it just makes it harder for staff to wade through while we try to get things sorted.

I paid $155.00 to him for a Tops BOB Knife and an ESEE PR4. I sent a DM a couple days ago. NO response.

I believed his story about sick person in his family so I sent him 100.00 because I do what I can to help others along the road in life.
 
He took me for 3 blades .

Mr Happy , Not sure when you purchased the the gossman but he tried selling it to me via pm on Feb 11 and 12th for $650.

The only reason we are not taking any action with the account yet is in the hope that some or all of the folks will be made whole. No point locking the barn door after the horse has bolted.

Please keep us apprised. We still have not received any reply to the DM I sent out...and he has not shown up online since last Saturday.

I had the address and phone information confirmed to me by a well known maker who has that information on their records.

(Not that I know what info was provided on anything shipped in these orders.)

I paid for the Evans MK on Feb 12 and was told it would ship that day. Not a word since and no knife.
 
Update for the seller; Per his message to me this evening, he's been in hospital with a medical condition and just got out, and my package and everyone else's packages are shipping out in the morning.

All personal information has been removed for the seller.

On here every day selling, responding and posting then magically when you sell you have a heartattack?

1 good show is worth 2 good tellings.
 
Glad to have read the update from the seller, and that we did not take action against his account preemptively. Sometimes stuff happens, and will be happy to have a successful outcome here.

Those who unfulfilled orders, please keep us updated going forward.

On the other hand, if he really wanted to simply rip off the members, why would he care about keeping his account open? He'd have just taken the money and walked.

I understand the frustration, and asking for a refund is not out of line, it is your money after all...but let's just be fair and say that we don't have all the facts at the moment.

Agreed.

Im not dealing with this way of business. He can resell to someone else .

I’ve already requested my refund. Best of luck to the other members.

Three things:

1) The address was posted in this thread because Mr Happy and I found it days ago using the method Blues described, as well as his cell phone number.
2) I flagged his sale post when it was initially posted. The admins reviewed it. I then asked the seller to confirm his possession of the knife I wanted to initially buy, which he did.
3) I am not the only one to receive knives from him. I am, probably, the only one who clicked "watch" on the thread and was notified of updates and comments like yours asking for confirmation that the seller was not a scam artist.
