I never heard officially if we were still gonna have a website or where to post pictures so I figured I'd start a thread since most folks were either finishing up or already done. Remember not to post pics until your recipient has received the knife. Otherwise, everybody go right ahead and add your pics to this thread :)

Here's the knife I made for it. It went to Scott AKA Razorback-Knives.
The blade was around 3.5" and made of 1/8" 440C, 7.5" OAL.
Handle is cocobolo, brass pins and thong hole. Filework on the spine has my logo and a modified vine pattern running towards each end.
Sheath is kydex.

The one on the far right is the one I sent. Paul has it now and is pleased! It has Rosewood slabs and a leather pouch sheath.

Here's the knife that Steve Hayden aka shgeo recieved. It has a 3 1/2" semi-skinner profiled D2 blade. 3/16" x 1 1/4" flat grind/w convex edge. 4" handle, worm grooved brown bone, brass pins. Pouch sheath dyed mahogony.

Here's another pic at a different angle.

This knife is one of a series I have been doing with a (sort of) frontier motif. It is made from D2, hardened to ~RC60 (I didn’t have it tested, but when I do test them, they run from 59.5 to 61). The finish is an antique etch I got from Chuck Burrows (Wild Rose Trading Co). I really like this on D2 as it shows the coarse Wootz like carbide structure of this steel. Blade is 5", 9 3/4"OAL

The guard and pin are mild (Home Depot) steel. Handle is elk antler dyed with brown leather dye the spacers aref copper and buffalo horn. I inset a 10mm X 13mm onyx cab to cover the marrow part of the antler in the butt.

The sheath is 8-9oz veg tanned leather with calf lace in a single loop Spanish braid.

This knife went to David Sylvester.

Come on guys,
Lets see what ya got...or sent, if it's been recieved already.
20 guys were in on this...let's see 20 knives! That's part of the fun.

I'll be posting pics of my very first knife here as soon as Matt gets it...and Spark re-instates my gold membership.

Post away guys!!

Lookie here. Got a fine knife in the mail from Mace. No note describing what steel it be. The handle is sometype of really nice burl with mortised tang and copper guard. Hand finish looks great. Nice tooled pouch sheath to go with it. I'm very happy . :D

Thanks Mace

MAn - Thats cool Mark- I liek it...Donnie Liked it but the wife is as usual...hard to please. Just kidding. She is here as I type this :p
How long is the blade?

Guys, You've got some really nice knives there. All of them look like they were well made.

Scott, did you do the worm grooves yourself? I might try that...dremel bit in a drill press should work....hmmm

blgoode, great hamon as always!

Matt, nice lines on that handle, looks comfortable. Sharp looking kydex too.

Mace, great work on the sheath and the knife looks fantastic with that burl.

Thanks all for showing your knives off.

Let's see more!!

Could someone post some pics for me? Let me know and I'll email them to ya.

Yep, looks like everyone did a really nice job again this year :) Looking forward to seeing what everyone else has come up with.

Wishing the mailman would get it in gear too ;)

Here's the knife Bill Siegle made, looks pretty sweet, he'll have to give us some details on it

Thanks Matt :) I made the claw from 5160 steel and did a flat chisel grind for the bevel. The handle is black over blue cord wrap and it has been soaked in epoxy. I got the idea from a conversation about Riddick's knife from Pitch Black and the raptor claw from Jurassic Park. Figured the idea had some merit for "something special" :D

Boy, there are some nice knives posted so far. :) shappa, the worm groove was already done. I would guess you could get some smooth bone and jig it yourself with a dremel cutter bit. Can't wait to see some more knives. :) keep them coming.

That grooved bone is a lot better looking than I would have thought. I had only seen it on slipjoint pocket knives before.

I have used white bone (cow and elk both) that the dog and I prepared and it is real nice white. The last one I made, some guy at a gun show convinced himself was ivory slabs even though I swore it was cow-ivory. He bought the knife.

O.K. !!!
Matt got my knife today. So It's time to post pics.
This is my very first knife.

edited to add one more pic
