KITH - "I'm In" - For those interested in participating.

We can play leap frog if you will forward it to Stacy . Wait , time in Texas , it will get tumble weed scratches :D

No tumble weed here just cactus and mesquite trees. If Peters HT does a good job then it shouldn't get scratched easily.;):D

I'm in for a 3rd year - I will make a knife by December 1,2009 :D

Patrice, I would say that you should make a knife with the intention of putting it in the KITH. If you don't have anything that pleases you by Dec. 1, then you won't post "I'm Ready". I think you will be ready in six months....so get busy. You can post the knife for critique and comments before you decide if it is KITH material.

Good idea, I will do that. Thanks

Patrice

I'm not sure that I'm good enough either, but I'm interested if I can get something done by then (I'm slow on top of being no good!) I will do as recommended above and shoot for getting one done, then post pics to see if what I have cobbled together is worthy of the exchange.

Thanks for putting this together, and I hope I can participate.

I have looked to your previous posts and saw your knives and sheaths, I can assure you your work is great and your sheaths are beautiful. I would be delighted if I had one of your work by Christmas

Thanks guys, that's extremely nice of you to say; I'd be thrilled and humbled to receive an example of the fine work that you gentlemen are always posting here. I still feel like a hack who doesn't really know what he's doing half the time and that I have a long way to go to 'catch up' to most others here.

PS You're not just messin' with my head, are ya?!? It's not nice to pick on the forum desk jockeys...

;)

Last year I didn't feel like I was quite ready, I had only made a half dozen knives or so. This year I'm in and looking forward to it!

I was in Scott's christmass exchange last year and has a blast. I'd like to join in this one too, but the "general range of 200 dollars" is troubling. I'm getting better but don't think I have the skills to do that yet. I'm assuming this is a replacement as I recall Scott not wanting to do it again.

So i guess I'll post as interested, but we'll see if i can come up with something pretty enough first. This is open to Canadians right? or should we do our own little sub KITH.
