My dad gave me a Craftsman he found in his yard, which must have been lost by someone the night before he found it--a little patina but no rust! Great Camillus made example, has lived in my tool box for years!Posted this old guy before. Bought it new in the early 70s. It has had a rough lifr but still does what I need done. It is stamped a Craftsman.
They seem to have shifted focus away from their line of in house traditionals quite a while back, one seldom reads anything here about them. As was mentioned above, they did not really advertise much. At least Klein is still carrying two of Utica's electricians knives, a coping knife, a lock back and a pair of hawkbills.Utica seems to have dropped some stockmans and trappers, as well as the entire Buckstag line, in addition to the Barlows. Can't be good.
Glad you found it as well! It is a cool thread you have going, the three blade electrician is just quirky enough to be kinda fascinating!Really glad I found this forum.
The Klein has abysmal F and F, but works fine
To the OP and anyone else, how is the fit and finish on your Klein electrician knives? My reason for asking is, i have a Klein TL29, represented as NOS, that is one of the worst fitted knives I own. The biggest beef is springs badly sunkem, and at different levels. I looks to be assembled by Bizarro Klein.
All of my other TL29s (Marbles, Rr, and a flea market Imperial) are much better. Sorry for the thread hijack, but reading it brought the question to mind.
Real nice, those are some old ones too.M. Klein and Sons

I found a sheath that fits and carry it on the farm sometimes.
