KME and BKT's, A sharpening tutorial....

Not really too sure. I'm thinking cause it was in the car over the weekend before last when it was so hot it may have melted the glue? :foot:

I got some new stuff from KME while I was at Blade. Kangaroo hide strops, on 1x4" aluminum blocks. Yuuuuuup.

and 4 different charges for them. One of them is a 1/10 micron. That's 160,000 grit for those that are wondering.......

Does it hold large heavy knives such as the 9 and 2 securely & do these knives flip OK and stay tight and not move?

Just wanted to thank you for an awesome thread! Got my kme a month or so ago and still practicing. Having trouble when I get near the tip and heel. No matter how I adjust the angle the stone isn't removing the sharpie? Gotta be messing something up. Any ideas?

I move the knife so the ricasso is right next to the jaws. That is just how I do it though.
