We all start with an accumulation of the knives that we like. As that grows we discover sub-sets that tell a meaningful story to us. Something like knives used in WWII, knives made by brand X, knives once owned by my uncle, or that are for nautical use. Any time that we have two or more knives that seem to convey something that is a collection. Some collections are huge and highly focused while others are smaller and loosely associated; it is your show-and-tell, present it however it pleases you.I have an accumulation that has no rhyme or reason other than I like it.
