Knife dealers must restrict LE and low produced knives to just ONE person!

So, are you channeling Joe Stalin, or Mao, or...? Maybe I'm just too much of a libertarian to believe that I should be telling other people how to run their lives and businesses...

That is what I was getting from reading this thread so far.

I do wish they would limit it to one per customer. I have given up on trying to buy sprint runs. I would love to have a blue Para 2 buy no way I am giving 300.00 for one.

Be patient, another run is on the way soon enough. There have been 2 runs so far with several hundred per release. I bought 2 from the first run (about 3 weeks apart) and had no problems getting the items I wanted delivered. This can at times be more of a "you snooze, you lose" scenario. I have every single Para2 sprint released, and didn't have to do any deals outside from the original vendors.

Those original vendors know they will sell out on sprint runs. It is not in their best interests to collect their money up front by selling it all to a scalper. The whole idea of a sprint is to attract a wide clientele to the manufacturer and vendor -- LOTS of happy customers.

I've missed out on multiple limited knives this year, and won't pay secondary market prices for them. Yeah, it sucks. But that's the way the market works; prices are ultimately determined by the buyer, not the seller.

What would be nice is if people would commit to becoming part of collectors clubs. Spyderco offers it, but I'm not sure about other manufacturers. One must be careful as well when the dealers and scalpers are one in the same.
