Saturday, 02-21-2009 - Knife Hunter calls. We have a pleasant call. I explain that the tip is messed up, it looks like it has been dropped and the last inch of the knife is boogered up a little. I explain that I have taken pictures and that the packaging is good, and it wasn't done in shipping. Knife Hunter offers a refund. I explain I want the RUCK and if it didn't require a regrind I would let it slide. However, since it does require a regrind, I just think a little adjustment in is order. Knife Hunter asks me to send the pics.

Monday, 02-23-2009 - PM Sent to Knife Hunter asking if he received the pics, no response

- I contacted you on Thursday the 19th about my concern
- I sent you pics on Saturday the 21st, after our phone conversation.
- I sent you a PM on Monday the 23rd.
I know you have been online, and I to be honest my frustration level is rising. I sent you $900 and you send me a RUCK that is not as advertised. This needs to be resolved today. Send me $100 to cover the regrind or send me my money back.
I look forward to your response. I will copy your email with the same message and the forum post this evening if I still hear nothing back.

I am sorry, but sending a guy $900 and not getting what was advertised and then having him go dark tends to get people worked up a little.
The inside wrapping had a minor cut in it, 1/8". Nothing that left the paper or outside tube though.
You refund the money and I send the RUCK back after. I sent you funds in good faith, you will have to do the same. I will get it repacked and ready. I look forward to the paypal by days end.

So, I am a little tired of you saying it wasnt as advertised casue it was used and scuffs on the coating showed it clearly.
I was being nice to offer to pay shipping both ways. THis is not a store.... there was no return policy.
You and your attitude are appauling.
I didnt go dark my friend. Her is the email from blade forums and if your were paying attention to what your doing and your pms sent...... you would have noticed that it said clearly when your tried to send that.......... my inbox was full .

Tuesday, 02-24-2009, 17:18 PM - Knife Hunter and I speak on the phone. It didn't go well, no real yelling or anything, but still not good. He said send the knife back and he will refund. Told me not to F#*@ it up or be vindictive, etc. I told him there was no way I was sending it back until I got my money back. I even suggested a third party as a mediator. I give the third party the knife, he sends me my money and the knife gets sent back. No go, he eventually hangs up on me.
My points:

I wanted to work something out, but 4 days go buy with multiple posts on the forums by Knife Hunter (feel free to check) and no response to me. A "Give me a day or two would have gone along way here)
Regardless of if he got the Monday PM, he did get the email, just chose not to deal with it
I was getting nervous/frustrated that I sent a good chunk of money and was getting ignored/screwed.
I express this, now I am aggressive and he is not giving my money back and/or if he does I need to send the RUCK back first. Won't have it any other way.
I bought the knife, sent the funds and received the knife later. He offered to buy it back and won't play by the same rules. He won't even use a third party to ensure anybody but his best interests.
I am frustrated and disappointed.
