If you do a search you will find that Dave Brown has given Rover and possibly even Banditti Busse Hacks for being slef proclaimed big buddies.

Search in Busse forum for Rover and find that him and Dave are best of friends and all over each others post.

I just told KH to remind him to tell my story about what happen'ed at Blade 07.

If that was not Rover setting beside you at the induction dinner then I had the name wrong and appogize for that.
I'll take his name out of my post since Its not the guy I was thinking it was.

based on what i've read here, nothing illegal has occurred. unless laws are drastically different elsewhere, no slander is present, nor have phone calls to be considered harrassing or otherwise illegal.

sales here are based mainly on good faith. buyers and sellers have some recourse, and ultimately i suppose one could file a small claims court lawsuit.

the current basis for the arguments seems to be the re-exchange of funds and goods. neither party trusts the other at present.

the general rule of thumb on the exchange is that both parties must be satisfied with the transaction. should the buyer decide the item was not properly described, a refund is in order. i believe proper ettiquete also dictates the buyer is responsible for return shipping unless another arrangement is agreed upon. i generally am willing to pay return shipping, but this does not mean i think all sellers should do the same. there is inherrent risk in purchasing items here, since we are not dealers and offer no "real" guarantee other than our word.

i would also refund prior to the buyer returning the item. i see no difference than expecting payment for my item prior to me shipping.

your time here is relevant, as this provides others with history to reference. we don't know your (or anyone's) business practices until multiple transactions have been completed. the itrader is a good reference for this.

however, if a member i trusted were to "vouch" for you, this would be good enough for me.
 
Oh my Lord, is this a new HULU commercial? My brain has turned to ooze and I am so throughly confused, is an Alien attack?

Why can't the knife be returned and then the refund of $900? I cannot think of one thing I have ever purchased where the refund came before the return of the product. If I buy something and do not like it or it is not what is was described to be, in almost all intances I need to return it for a refund.

Is this the hold-up or has my brain already been consumed?????????????????
 
What a clusterfuck.

I have no clue how my bad transaction has anything to do with anyone else. David has helped me through some rough times.

Someone wants to burn bridges with me over a couple boxes of ammo on a +$1000 deal when I've done big deals with that person before then so be it.

Trevor, my number is 602-327-0546. We need to get things straight. I got your ammo packed up and will send it regardless, but I'd like to talk about what is going on here.
 
Here is the deal. I have been nothing but professional on this post. KH and his buddies have flamed everybody and there second cousin to hell and back. The only thing this thread seems to be accomplishing is negative. Regardless of how many posts someone has, right is right and wrong is wrong. I am right. I will keep the RUCK and know that a lot of the BF Busse guys are "buyers remorse" This isn't worth the drama.

I am going to lock this thread and let readers take from it what they will.
 
I'm going to summarize here real quick.

A deal was made between banditti and KH. Funds were sent. Todd received the knife, took it to David Browns for a sheath, unwrapped it, and found tip damage. Todd contacted KH, advised what he found with a withness. KH offered a refund. Todd declined, saying he wanted a user anyway.

At this point, did KH offer anything ele in compensation? A partial refund, or to pay for the new sheath? I'm not seeing that.

To me, one of the above would be a good resolution, or perhaps something else???

I think you need to get this worked out in private, then repost with the resolution.

I think I've seen enough in this thread that the ball is in KH's court to offer some form of remedy, if Todd indeed wants to keep the knife.
