Knife not as described (Refund Issued)

Did the seller ask you to disassemble the knife? I'd be pretty livid if you did that and then asked for a refund.

The locking issues are a different matter. I guess I'd ask the seller to weigh in on that.

I didn't ask for a refund, I've stated this. He sarcastically called himself names and tossed the knife at me for free + refund. I don't want the darn thing, so I shipped it back............... I'm just tired of this now, not even worth wasting a breath, when I've already apologized 500 times to the point I'm frustrated enough to spit out awful words.

I'm done here. Make up stories and light yerselves a bonfire.

No you didn't ask for a refund but what did you think the end result would be when you started this thread. Yeah I said keep the knife for your trouble. My reputation is worth a lot more than 90 dollars to me. This and one other forum are the only 2 that I pay money to be a member and maintaining a good reputation means a lot to me. You took that away by your callous post instead of just communicating with me first. The knife you received looks just like the pictured one in my ad. That blade has no wear on it. I never used that knife one time for any thing. It was not filthy out of the box as you claim and that blade was rock solid. If there were any issues like you mentioned I would have made that very clear in my ad. Granted I did not take the knife apart before I shipped it to check for cleanliness and or surface rust in and around the liner but who does. I have bought several knives off the EE and did not once disassemble them and check for surface rust and dirt. That's just silly. I guess we have all learned a lesson here. Hopefully members won't be afraid to buy from me in the future.

<sarcastically> Thanks again <sarcastically> Doug

So we are all suppose to take your word? That you were responsible and accurately described the item in your listing? But I'm suppose to prove everything in the world to everyone in order to support my claims?

1) Your photos show the pocket clip was remounted to your desired position from default, look the blade up!
2) You can see some of the wear if you look closely at picture 3 of your listing, there's evidence of dirt in picture 2 ( but who cares about dirt )
3) You cannot prove that there was or was not blade play, and I can guarantee you I feel plenty of it when i grasp the tip of the blade and wiggle it.
4) The blade had a flippin burr at the tip and when i shine light on the edge, I can clearly see it has been USED!

I have provided SOME evidence, you just go around thinking your a saint and you don't have to prove a darn thing. You are just scared you wont be able to make any more sells, so your acting innocent.

You know what you did with this blade, if you actually think back. So go ahead and lie through your teeth.

As far as I can see you have provided nothing in the way of evidence and are expecting us to just take your word for it. You have made your bed here and now you can sleep in it.
You also have a borderline racist user name. I'm willing to bet good money you're not a muslim that has made the journey to Mecca.....

platinum bladeforums member been here since aug 2009 with 22 positive feedback score vs basic member been here since sept. of this year and a feedback score of ZERO, DapperDan stood up righted his wrong(if you wanna call it a wrong ) and in my eyes is still a man I would do business with any day of the week, Sellers beware , not cool to blast someone in public, before contacting them, I'll be avoiding the op at all cost and warning my friends on here to do the same.

hadji is what the Us troops refer to insurgents in Iraq and Afghanistan, Dunno if he's just trying to play off that with his name or if he's just a huge Johnny quest fan. Either way SELLER BEWARE

It's hard to argue with that, I think this was more about getting back at someone that he felt had slighted him. It was a rather poor show to take it here first, that's for sure.

I know what it means and I know what the word means to my friends that have actually been over there to work......

The more I see you post the more I think I am dealing with a spoiled brat. I'm starting to actually feel sorry for you.

All I hear is stories yet. You keep pushing buttons and expect no retalation, when you provoke it. Guess someone that has perfect feedback means hes flawless in every way, and in now way questionable, or liable for the first mistake that puts him off his perfect score. But someone that has no score and thus also has a perfect record makes a mistake of buying from the person at the time they are found making their first mistake.

Can't say it wasn't a blast, fending off everyone that thinks its wrong to discuss this matter here, but does there best to continue on this already resolved issue.

Everyone has to have his say and opinion tho, so enjoy your bonified bull.

But I'm indefinetly an arab prick insergent scumbag egomaniac spoiled a-hole good for nothing liar, and somehow hes a saint because he made his wrong right.

- That's ok Doug, you can feel sorry for me all you want. I feel sorry for your blades, knowing you spend 300-400 dollars on some and treat the ones you sell like an old pair of shoes you forgot you ever wore. But I'm the spoiled one here!

Wow, of the two parties this thread is about I am certain of the one I would be more than happy to deal with and that is not you hadji413. You talk about proof (or lack thereof) of bladeplay on DapperDan, but with you disassembling and reassembling the knife is it not possible that this could be the cause (if it is present)?

I think DapperDan has gone above and beyond given the circumstances. As he mentioned in his post, even though you did not ask for a refund (which he granted with no pressure to right a situation in which you feel was wrong), in the end what did you want the outcome to be, just to drag his name through the mud?

The tone in your posts is what will, and has, turned a lot of people off to ever dealing with you hear. I know I never will.

And lets close this one again. hadji413 I told you in the email that continual bickering wouldn't help the situation. The bottom line is you weren't happy with the knife and got refunded, end of story.
