Knife suggestion (for me, not from me)

Can't do the Tremor. Kershaw G10 feels like -5 grit sandpaper on my hands. I had one of their G10 knives for a few days, and after my fingerprints were rubbed off and my hands being raw, I returned it.

I think Kershaw's G10 is the bomb. On a par with Spyderco's best stuff. Of course, I like the grippiness it affords.
If you have soft, sensitive hands, be aware that the molded texture of the Endura may also give you pause.
You might want to look for something with smoother scales.

Guess he could go with the SS handles, doesn't get any less grippy; other then that I'm out of suggestions:rolleyes:

It's a knife. You use it to cut things. Every knife from $1 - $∞ will do the same thing. lol

Yes, the same way as a unicycle all the way to a Ferrari will transport you from one place to another. Same as a rock all the way to pneumatic hammer will break things apart. Show me a $1 knife that performs within miles of... a $20 dollar knife.

Sort of depends on the $20 knife. There aren't that many good ones. Probably the best knife for $20 is a Vic SAK or a Mora Bushcraft Triflex.

Victorinox Super Tinkerer from WalMart. It sits in the pocket with my Umnumzaan.

With the Delica 4 and Centrofante III being in VG-10, is the steel really worth $20 more? Sorry for all of the questions and all, this is an area I have not treaded (buying a knife without getting to inspect the model in my hand).
Also, I saw on amazon a Delica w/ wave opener for under $50 with shipping. Is that too good to be true, because it sounds suspect.

If you won't tolerate bucks 420hc (which i happen to favor over VG-10) than yes, its worth the extra dough. Save your pennies man, the delica's a great edc.

Everybody has said Endura over Delica, except for the ones that suggested the Delica in the first place. I kind of seem to be stuck, because they seem pretty much the same to me. Do the two handle differently, have different locks, or blade geometry to make one superior, or is it just blade size?

I just looked, and apparently I was looking at the Endura on 2 tabs thinking one was the Delica. I found a Delica for $1 more that is sabre ground. Is there a real difference between sabre and flat ground, other than looks and minute cutting difference?
