Holy crapola! They all spoke for too? :P

Just about! The hunter and large field knife are new so not called yet. I'm sure I have an extra tanto or two also.

I've got field knives going into service overseas, tantos going to Asia and Chef knives to France. :D Extra motivation

I'm also waiting on the correct taps for my folders now that the tapper is going... friction folders and framelocks! I'm also debating a deposit/pre-buy to get the Hunters going. Ti Backpackers are also soon to be back in the works!

Holy crapola that's a lotta edged goodness!

I know the deposits will help you get things processed faster. Let us know if we can do anything else to help you!

That is awesome Daniel! You can change your title to Internationally renowned knife maker. :D Seriously, props bro!

Bobby. If you can even give me a guess on the bolt/nut size on the chop saw I can send you a few wrenches of different sizes. Soak up that sunshine !

Bright sunshiny day here too........but it is all the time.:D

That cold front we had must have made it all they way out to you finally :P

Left over pizza for lunch, man, I wish I could have a beer as well!

:D Hey guys!

Good morning Rolf!

I hope you're feeling OK Xander!

I did heat treating all day yesterday... set up the BBQ near the kiln and smoked a brisket. Check the kilns, check the BBQ. :)

Both came out exceptional with the knives being tough and the meat tender. lol :D

Guys quick question. I think I want a portaband to cut my blanks. Home Depot has tao Milwaukees in stock. Models 6242 and 6232. Anyone in the know have an idea which one is better suited?

Bobby, I have the 6232 and it works great. the 11 amp motor is enough power to cut through anything I have thrown at it so far. The only thing that I do not really like about it is the way the blade is positioned. It makes it impossible to do long cuts, like splitting a 42x4 bar of steel into a 42x2" bar of steel if ya know what I'm sayin'. I have heard that the HF portabands have the blade positioned to make that possible. Since I am not making swords This really has not been a big problem so far.

Sick. Ash and I are at the bar. If we finish up before 9, its mine. Else; tomorrow.

Thanks for the answer. Got some cool designs i wanna cut out. Giving up on my chop saw for now. Went to HF again and got some mouthbreather with zero useful answers!

What projects you got in the tube dude?

How's it goin Daniel? Sandsandsand

Rolf this weather is such a nice change!!!

Listen to FBC on the saw... personally I want amps/torque, SWAG compatible for stand, maybe a long cut like the offset HF saw but then DeWalt or Milwaukee are solid brands.

Busy here with lots of grinding today, 7 knives bevel ground to 600 grit. The Fighter/Field Knife/Bowie shape has this incredibly nice swedge that I'm particularly proud of. :) The A2 Tantos are just nuts with tall hollow grinds on .062" A2 steel at 61-62 RC. And there is another Hunter prototype in ffg S7!
