Afternoon gents. How's everyone's day going so far? I'm digging through all my edc collectable kind of junk at the moment and getting realistic. I've sold all but 4 knives and all the more "tactical" gear as I've hit the age where I realize I'm not going to be recruited into G.I. Joe and if the world ends I'm not going to fight it, I'm gonna open a Carib and kick back. Hopefully some of it moves so I can swing one of those sweet Backpackers. I really love the pics of the Greenish Blue ano'd one.

What I'd do for a Carib! I went to the factory once...

I can do custom ano on my Ti so just let me know when the time comes.

Going well here! already had a good morning in the shop and am about to finish up a knife! I got a huge box of new belts in and have had a good day so far.

FBC I play pretty much everything... mostly guitar, drums and programming synths but I have played bass, keys, banjo, mandolin, you name it! besides woodwinds and violin/cello type of stuff... I have an electronic album I need to put out online eventually and want to get back into that type of stuff again. I really need to re-string my acoustic...

Good advice!

For the bass I'd practice with a metronome... minor pentatonic scale shapes and a basic 1-2-3-4 up and down progression on each string. I'm not sure where you are at on bass but once you learn that scale everything seems to fall in place.

Either pick or finger will work well, whatever you prefer. I usually play with my fingers... even power chords on the guitar. That is unusual though...

The pentatonic/1-2-3-4 thing will really go a long ways. Learn the E pentatonic scale... It starts on the open low E. For a song in G just move the same shape down to the third fret... A the fifth fret to start and etc...

Mel Bay books sort of cover this but you can just google it, the main thing is practice and understanding the scales.
