FBC the button lock/#4 combo has been seriously considered, in fact that might be the #3 option, lol. I'd want it to be sleek... it's the only one I don't have drawn up but most designs are easy to modify to button lock. I have my button in (you can order just the button part) and will be designing one around that... the button lock intrigues me and the knife can be so light and strong it is nuts!

Lol, I can just see you standing there with that button on the workbench , staring , thinking ,plotting , designing around that one small piece! :D

Very nice! I think if I do a button lock it will be convertible between full auto and manual too.

A top secret project commenced today and it was a very good day. :D

It's not the folder we're talking about but I'm seriously thinking about buying more Titanium and D2 for that!
 
Cupcakes sound good right about now, think I'm gonna go raid the kitchen.

Tomorrow is going to be a total drag, working a split. 8-12/3-8:30.

I really need to get in the shop, been itching to get some stuff done lately.

Duz Dozier use D2?
This will be Dozier Tanto #2, with Red Micarta. My first one has Natural Micarta. I will only keep one.

You know he's the D2 guru! :D I'm going to heat treat some today...

I looked for that one but didn't see it on his site. I am a big fan, it is fun to go look at his hunting knife models ha has posted.


Lots going on today, you name it! I need to get my compressor going too so I can blast the backs of the tanto scales before glue-up.

One hour down, three more to go for the morning half. But, my two big shipments I'm receiving today aren't here yet, going to have to rush like mad breaking down 8 pallets of goods.

The out come will determine whether I ever buy a Husky brand product for my shop or not. If they don't treat Daniel right, I would not expect them to treat me any different. Good luck Daniel!

Daniel- The Dozier Tanto is the K9 model and it's badazz, considering it's a V grind. :D Try Google for a pic.

Finished my work early today (working from home), and didn't need to pick up the boy for another 3 hours - so I grabbed my fly rod and drove to my little lake for some quick casts...

Despite being 50 degrees and sunny, I forgot that the lakes were mostly still frozen. No fish for me. Lucky I still have some pork in the fridge to cook up. :D

I can't wait for *real* spring.

On a knife related note - Daniel, when are you going to make a bird & trout pattern? :D
