I missed this thread the first time around. My money went in a few months ago.
Although I prefer the axis lock, I appreciate the elegant simplicity of the titanium framelock. Furthermore, G10 is the gold standard or synthetic handle materials. Micarta offers more variety, but doesn't match the durability of G10. M4 is a hard-wearing steel that is particularly suited to a thin slicer like the flat-ground Military. The knife is pure function. Moreover, it is a tremendous value.
I'm surprised that there are so few members here that have raised their hand to indicate that they are on the list. With all the threads about Striders, Sebenzas, and hard-use folders, I would have expected everyone to have been clamoring for a place in line. Am I missing something?
