Knifeworks805 frustrating business ethics..

I send 3 clips for refinishing 2 and a half weeks ago. Several emails unanswered. PM not answered. My check has been cashed.

Luckily he only has clips from my knives. However, since two of them are from custom knives it will cost me about 50 to get them all replaced. And he has my money too.

This is really frustrating because I have had so many very positive dealings with the members of this forum. Don't let this change your mind about deals made here!

I just now read through all of the negative threads on Ryan. In the past I have only looked at feedback ( his is 100, not sure how) but this will change that for sure

unless you met him through bladeforums and have a sale thread there nothing you can do, thats why I've begged the mods to do it but to no avail.

I'm not saying the mods aren't doing there jobs, but I think more should be done to let people know what bad business ethics Ryan has.

Also, isnt there a 3 strikes your out rule? Hes screwed over more than 3 people now, Time for a banning?

Ernie, we try and give everyone here a fair shake and allow them to do business by their own accord. Sometimes you come across a person with a defective moral compass and an overall lack of common sense. This place has been here over 14 years, people know what to watch for when they pay attention.

Wolf, it seems that the people that are toxic to the knife community in general always hang themselves given enough rope. I had hoped that Ryan cared about his reputation and would get his act together. He can't say that he wasn't given ample opportunities to do the right thing.

I also sent him my spyderco tenacious ( the orange stonewashed one in his latest video) with no response from him since. I didn't ask it to be sent to Seattle Edge or anything I know it has been ready to go for over three weeks.

Your knife looks awesome. I hope we get them back. I really do. Hopefully he will see this thread.

.

I love the Forum now that I'm here. I just didn't even know it existed when I did business with Ryan. Thanks for all that you do around the Forums Rev. I know you're doing everything you can, brother.

This one is even more interesting. We know from the other threads that he has been using Seattle Edge as kind of a scape goat telling people that he shipped them and Albert should have them and this and that to buy himself a couple more weeks. Yet, he still has it ready to go and its just sitting. I think paying after the fact would be best in these types of situations with no deposit would be best. He has your collateral and you have an e mail address that he doesn't even check.
