yes but he would still have your knife, and some people send him high dollar knives. I feel bad for Albert having his name attached to Ryan, I mean I know I wouldnt want to associated with him (Ryan).

Albert does great work, and is an honest man, Ryan how ever isn't.

Albert has to deal with people contacting him because Ryan screwed up, Its just not right :thumbdn:
 
That is the kind of lesson that can be learned quickly. Bad business associations can drive one's own business down.

Good point sir. Have you put any thought into contacting Albert about this kind of stuff. Its not my place as I have never done business with either of them, but he may want to know what's going on.

Good suggestion, however it really is not my place to go outside the scope of the forums and create waves for others. Ryan will end up showing his hind quarters with no help from anyone. If Albert is a member here, which I am not sure he is then he is more than welcome to post in this thread. If someone were to email him a link, that would also be out of my control. I do not have any of his contact information though.

Trust me, Albert has seen the thread. And he is such a good guy. I would definitely do future business with Albert, simply based on his business ethics and kindness. Have you found anything out, Rev?
 
I sent him a PM on the 24th with no reply. He has no been online since the 17th.
 
I also dealt with him before I joined BF, mostly because many people on youtube recommended him. I sent him my tenacious with my custom pattern as a test of his work, and after seeing the finished product on his latest video I planned to send him several other knives. Well that was three weeks ago when the knife was ready to be shipped. He still has not shipped it or responded to many emails. I don't understand the business model of discouraging repeat customers. If he had simply shipped the knife, or even contacted me with a valid reason why he hasn't, I would have given hundreds of dollars in repeat business. After joining BF and seeing the many complaints about him that will no longer be the case.

Hello all - Yes, I am a member of bladefourms and have read through this thread and the others posted. After the outstanding batch has been received, sharpened, and sent out Ryan and I will no longer be working together. Our businesses are completely independent and I have no say or influence over how he runs his business. Just wanted to put that out there.
