knifeworks805? No communication!

no I don't lie about where peoples knives are.
Nice you think that but it's obvious you Lie about when you ship them.

I hope this permanently and negatively impacts your ability to sell things here because if not we'll see more posts about your lack of follow through.

It will if people are truthful and give negative feedback. Looks like people in the past have let his indiscretions ride, chalking it up to the excuses he provided. It's obvious now he's a man full of excuses. Some of these issues could have probably been avoided, as less people are likely to deal with those with negative feedback.

I been thinking about getting one of my Emerson's coated, glad I saw this thread. I don't care what his feedback is after this, I'll learn to Duracoat myself before sending work to Ryan.

He only fessed up and maybe shipped your knives because he just posted 2 new ones in the For Sale Forum.

What a self-serving B.S. artist.

3:16 he posts just enough to take the heat off and might have shipped your knives and 3:29 he lists 2 new knives in the For Sale Individuals Forum.

How about having the right Membership as a Member of the Trade since you’re Not Selling your personal knives?

overall it think its obvious he is a liar in some cases. i feel that he is certainly someone who is over-stressed and was unprepared for it. but things such as the statement " i work at a gun shop 6 days of the week " should be put out to a customer before they send him a knife. the term " professional knife pimper " is certainly a stretch. and when you say you need a break from your work and you are no longer accepting orders its very shady to then a day later spam nutn fancy saying that they should drop mission spec camo and send knives to you. i sent him my para 2 4.5 months ago and i was quoted a 1 week turnaround time. instead i got minimal communication lies and a 4 month wait. thanks to wolf starting this thread and someone posting this on his Facebook wall with a link ( which ryan deleted both post ) all of us were brought together and i don't know if i would have gotten my knife back without it. i would recommend no one send a knife to him because of his very shady and low business ethics. sorry Ryan you do great work but this is something that cant be overlooked you have really messed up.

also i think everyone who dealt with him through bladeforums should leave him feedback so people know he is a bad seller.

My blade is back in my hand today.
Albert Edmonds of Seattle Edge put a very sharp edge on it.
I am very pleased and impressed with his attention to detail.

glad to hear ya got your knife back, and that its nice and sharp! From what I have heard Albert is the man at sharpening.

I completely overlooked the fact that I need to give credit to:

wolf5391, for starting this thread.
&
RevDevil, for keeping it moving in the right direction and keeping it that way.
Thank you both for helping to get my knife back.
Also, thank you to any others who were helpful in this process.
I couldn't keep up with all of the posts but Thank you all. ()

I Got my 0300 scale back finally I am very disappointed. This is NOT what I asked for him to do. Not even close. Does this look like black with white skulls?

In stead I get this. Note there chips in the duracoat as well. Real shotty work. As if the wait wasn't bad now the quality of this work is terrible.

I would like to add how impressed I am on how everyone worked together to get these folks their property back. You dont really see stuff to often in the "real world" never mind on the internet..Hats off !!

I was typing as you posted you picture..To bad it ended up this way for you. At least you got your property back and maybe you can get him to refund your money.

No there wasnt any money exchanged it was a custom knife that I made him.

I have been in this thread often without much to add but I do think that is screwed up that he has the ability to have active for sale threads while people were having issues with him.

Wolf I really hope that he steps up and makes things right for you by at the very least refunding you every penny that you sent him. Thats absurd and just plain ugly work.

unfortunately like I said above I gave him a custom knife as payment so Ill never get any money back.

He told me to send it back again for refinishing the way I want it this time, But if he had just listened to me the first time then he would have done it correctly.

Plus I learned my lesson the first time I sent my stuff in. That ain't happening again.

I offered to make it right for you Wolf. You didn't want to send it back to me, that's your choice. I'm not sure why there are chips in the duracoat, i've never sent anything off that looked like that.... something could have happened during shipment considering that I finished this and shipped it off in the same day. The finish takes 4 weeks to fully cure. Did the other knife make it ok?

Well Wolf, you didn't get what you wanted in anyway and you were fu*ked around for weeks Im sorry for that.

Ryan this is my opinion but after this whole ordeal, rather than having him send it back in to fix it, you should send him back the knife. He didn't get what he wanted at all, and you fell off the map while in possession of his stuff leaving him up in the air. You have already tarnished if not destroyed your BF reputation, do whatever it takes to make it right.

Because you f'd me over the first time why in the He$$ would I send it back a second time. I wouldn't get it back until I opened my stocking on Christmas eve

on a side note If it takes 4 weeks to fully cure and is likely to chip when you ship it, then Why do you ship it via envelope? seems envelope are more prone to damage. Use priority boxes from now on.

If I could leave feed back, it would be a -1 so people don't have to deal with this in the future.

I'm not happy and probably wouldn't be even if you pay'd me for the value of the custom I made you!

have a marvelous day, because you pretty much ruined mine.

Ok man, i'm sorry. I offered. The retail price of the custom you made me wasn't a lot, I would send it back to you as a way of "refunding" you but it fell from the sheath when I was carrying it and the tip broke off. Albert at Seattle Edge made it functional but you wouldn't be able to re-sell it. Let me know if you still want it
