knifeworks805? No communication!

Another week. Simple communication would go a long way to reassuring people you’re doing the right thing.

I agree that updates need to roll through until everyone is either reinbursed or they property returned. You don't need to post minute by minute updates, just let people know in this thread what the deal is, who has been taken care of, and who is next on the list. It sucks when you have to hand hold grown people inorder to get them to do the right thing.
 
update: ryan said my knife is done and he would be sending me a picture and shipping it today. we will see
 
its been 5 days since they were shipped and they are still not here. It usually only takes 3 days for mail from Maryland to California and visa-versa. Ive tried talking to Ryan with no avail again...

Any updates?
 
have you been able to get in touch with him at all? try calling him and talking to him in person its my understanding that he gets tracking numbers for all of his shipments but just dosent send them to his customers. some one else has the same problem where he shipped it and it never got to them. he told me that he was shipping out my para 2 on Thursday Friday to albert ( he sent me a picture of it finished ) so i plan on emailing him and trying to see if he got it.

Now why would that be- Not giving pertinent Tracking information to the customer, to ease the customers mind so the customer can keep track of their item?

It would take all of a minute or 2 to email it to the customer. It’s what’s called running a business.

He seems to respond here just enough to keep the heat off.

i agree the only reason i said that is there was a dispute where someone had not received their knife after it had shipped and ryan told a customer that he had tracked his order and the number showed nothing, he then refused to actually send the tracking number to the customer. so i assume he must get tracking numbers for all of his orders.
 
Yah, Ive tried calling and texting.

No reply.

He says the best way to reach him is by phone but out of the 10 times Ive called and 15 texts Ive sent, only 4 were answered.

Hoping for my knives either tomorrow or Ill trying to call him again...
 
Wonder about the ones that are not aware about this thread, had their knives, money taken and have no way to get in contact with him. You know they are out there.

I like to give people a bit more credit for being smart than that. It's not too many new people that spend big money on folders, much less Cerakoting.
 
You get a tracking number so the person can track their package and keep an eye out for it. So why he wouldn't send the knife owner the tracking number makes no sense. I send with DC# so I can track the package and make sure it gets where it's going, but also so the other person can track their package and see where it is.

By refusing to give someone a tracking number that he supposedly has, that just brings the assumption that he never got one or he just plain did not send the package at all and doesn't have the number to provide. It brings the assumption that he's lying.

Running a business can be stressful and hectic. It can take a lot out of you and sometimes things get mixed up and take longer. But as a good business man you are honest and do your best to do right or to right your wrongs. And you communicate well, or as well as you can.

I think Ryan needs to lighten his load of work a little as people are getting upset. It's not their fault he took on too much and doesn't have a lot of time.

Also, I believe Ryan needs some better business ethics.

I find this behavior offensive. I’ve made many more transactions than my Feedback indicates and the members I’ve dealt with have been awesome. The number of hassles I’ve had can be counted on a couple of fingers and only one took more than a month to resolve.

Wrap this up then go away.

still nothing. Either usps has it still or he didn't ship them out when he said he did. Its been 7 days since he said they were shipped.
 
ya he sent me pic of my knife and said he was sending it off to Albert to get sharpened, i haven't heard anything from him and he hasn't responded to my text im going to email albert to see if he got it.
 
update: i contacted Albert and he said that he had talked to Ryan earlier that day and that my knife was in the mail to him and that he would email me when he got it. lets hope he hasn't started lying to Albert to.
 
Hey guys, sorry I've been away for a bit. Everyones knives are back out to them. Rapdog, no I don't lie about where peoples knives are. It is on its way to Albert. And Wolf yours are on their way to you as well. I gave sent you a text a few minutes ago.
