You get a tracking number so the person can track their package and keep an eye out for it. So why he wouldn't send the knife owner the tracking number makes no sense. I send with DC# so I can track the package and make sure it gets where it's going, but also so the other person can track their package and see where it is.
By refusing to give someone a tracking number that he supposedly has, that just brings the assumption that he never got one or he just plain did not send the package at all and doesn't have the number to provide. It brings the assumption that he's lying.
Running a business can be stressful and hectic. It can take a lot out of you and sometimes things get mixed up and take longer. But as a good business man you are honest and do your best to do right or to right your wrongs. And you communicate well, or as well as you can.
I think Ryan needs to lighten his load of work a little as people are getting upset. It's not their fault he took on too much and doesn't have a lot of time.
Also, I believe Ryan needs some better business ethics.
