knifeworks805? No communication!

I would like to say one thing that I don't think is right here, and that is that Ryan Has time to pimp his knives and get them done and ready for sale but My knives still aren't back and I have asked for updates with no response again... Heres the link to his for sale thread with his newly pimped para 2's.

Maybe I'm wrong here but I'm not too happy seeing this. Para 2's take a while to pimp and its my understanding that my micro recon which is a very small knife still isn't done.
 
I've sent him another PM. I think he needs to get in touch with everyone he has left on his list and make some sort of arrangements. Come on man,

While I did not get the services I paid for done, I did however finally get my blade and money back today after close to three months of waiting and complaining. Thanks to wolf5391 for creating this thread and good luck to everyone he still owes.

glad to hear. I was told by Saturday the knives would be done and he was shipping the back.

Ryan has assured me via PM reply that he is working to get everyone's property back, and the knives that remain being finished will be. He appears to care about his reputation, that is a good thing and I commend him on that. Let's hope things keep moving in a positive direction.
 
1) Why is he still allowed to sell here when he has outstanding obligations he has acknowledged and doesn't seem to be able to get to? Seems like a suspension of Selling privileges would be appropriate.

2) Who in their right mind would deal with the guy right now or ever? And if you do don't come here and complain afterwards if it doesn't work out.

Do you guys not understand that I've had hundreds of other transactions go down perfectly? I'm not a thief or criminal, it was just bad timing for the 4 or 5 people who had orders in with me. In regards to the sales thread... I did those Paras a long time ago. I shipped them off to be sharpened and they finally made it back to me the other day. So that's when I was able to put them up for sale, not that its any of your guys' business. =]
ease up on me here, I've already made good with almost everyone I had an order with. Just the OP and rapdog to go

Well Ryan, yes, it IS their business. They have orders with you which you've had for months and months and still poorly communicate with them and then put up two knives that seem to be newly pimped by you for sale and they haven't hardly heard from you and nor do they have their work done or their knives back. I would be upset and worried about that as well. When you have promised someone a service and they have fulfilled their end, things that seem concerning to them are their business as for the moment they are out money/property and you are not.
 
I dont think you get the fact that you left these folks hanging for a long time. There is no excuse for that. Just finish the work up and be done with it.
 
They faithfully gave you money/items and you have not turned out your end yet.
They deserve any information they can get.
Therefore any info they find or are told is their business.

You owe these people.
Your reputation is not looking good at this point in time.

Get it done and get it to them.
They deserve it because they trusted you with their money and items.

Was wanting some kind of work done in the near future.
I believe I will go elsewhere.
 
ryan can i have an update on my knife your said it would be done last week but i havent heard from you
 
And I just spoke to him recently on the phone about dura coating my para2. I think I will have to take my business elsewhere. If you can answer the phone and quote people For their knives, you should be able to give them updates on their knives. I hope you get your act together.

Another week. Simple communication would go a long way to reassuring people you’re doing the right thing.
