Photos Knives & Guns

I had one of those. Stopped working after about 20k rounds. I had the Daisy pump rifle too. When I was 14 my grandfather gave me a pellet rifle and pistol set that he bought in the 70s by Weirauch. They kick like a .22 but are only single shot. However, they are powerful. I was in the yard when I was maybe 17 and a crow was chasing my neighbors daughter next door. One shot that crow was dead.

I have been shooting in a few weeks, I'm due to go. It's gotten to the point where it's difficult to choose what to bring. I don't have the strength to carry even half of everything plus ammo. Next trip will be the Canik TP9 SFX, Sig P365SAS X (always), Beretta PX4 .40 (try out a new recoil spring/rod), Tabor SAR (new Geiselle trigger bow), and the AK.

Sadly, my Steyr M9 is temporarily retired. It has an issue with the ejector/extractor, and getting hot brass up my nose does not make for a fun day. Unfortunately, it's a known but uncommon problem, and my research thus far has not found a fix other than bending the metal where it grabs the spent case, which I am not confident doing. Too bad, 6k rounds and only 1 malfunction.
Can you send it in to Steyr for repair or warranty work?

So mine dates from before Steyr "officially" imported them. It was imported by PW arms from a military order that fell through. It's an amalgamation of the 1st and second gen. Second gen frame, trigger, etc, first gen slide, barrel, extractor, etc. I'm not sure if Steyr will warranty what is basically a "gray" market gun.

It’s just the lighting, it’s still basic black…Oh how dare You say “give up the 10mm” !! He’s called GrandDad and is a low serial numbered Gen2 thats Family for Life 😁👍🏼. It’s my overall favorite caliber but I grew up shooting/hunting with it also.

Understand family.
Man, I'm ashamed to admit that I ain't much of a disclipined "carry" guy. Usually, I just keep a loaded 1911 on the transmission "hump" (*of whatever vehicle I'm driving) when I go out at night here in the big/diverse/inclusive "Sh!t'tropolis".

If, for some reason, I feel the need to strap the ol' "Commander" onto my person, I have a really well-made paddle holster that I use. (*It's about 25-30 years old and still works "MAH-VUH-LESS-LY")
It is a very nice gun.

These are two different parts, I'm sure you know it.
The problem you're describing is more related to the ejector.
Slightly and carefully bending it up, as much as the opening allows, may bring your brass down a little bit.

Hey y’all! I was surprised and a little freaked out to find that my Smith and Wesson magazine bases were cracked and on the verge of failing. I have replaced all three bases on my mags.
If you have older Smith & Wesson mags, you might want to check them.2EFD1DC0-DEDD-4299-9D58-F5453B280968.jpeg

Yes I did. I didn’t find much when I searched. These replacement ones do not look very good, so I’ll look at some Pearce. Thank you, Scott
