Photos Knives of the Hot Zone

Not here and now , in fact it's been an incredibly beautiful early spring and we have plentiful semi-wilderness right outside . :)

But ...still , I worry for the future . Not so much for us personally , but for this nation and the world that looks to the USA to help them stay or become free . :(
Huh, so this thread that you started in the spirit of gallows humor and about your hot zone knife, there is no situation in need of gallows humor, you are not in a hotzone, and you haven't discussed the knife hardly at all. You know this is general knife discussion, right? :p

Let's get it back on track and about knives (if it ever was). The reasoning behind my choice of the Vic Classic to open possibly infected packaging is the knife is easy to clean (small and highly stainless), inexpensive to replace, and opens packaging really well. It's also what I would use in a lot of instances if we weren't in the middle of a pandemic.

And just to add, since these fantasy scenario threads are so fun and prevalent, the cutting tool I think would be perfect for extended opening of infected boxes (why I'm doing that, who knows) would be something from the Spyderco Salt line. When done, just throw it in a vat of bleach or whatever cleaning method you find best. No rust, no corrosion, and the SE H1 will cut forever.

Yes that would be a fine choice . Same logic would apply to these , although I didn't think of them in that context before you reminded me .
