Knives you would never buy again!

Anything made by Buck. The Vantage Force Pro is a terrible knife if you use a knife for a living. My 119 snapped in two, and my old 110 was a damn rattlesnake after just a few outings. I also had a Buck Stridee folder that was hard to open, had a paper thin liner that wore out in literally weeks, and just all around felt cheap.

Boker. All of them.

CRKT M16. The thing literally fell apart.

Spyderco Delica. Holy cow. Had I not sent it in for warranty I would have swore it was a knock off. No good blade deserves such a terrible and cheap handle/lock system. The FRN has to be the cheesiest feeling knife handle I've held in my life. The Sypyderco hole was cool in the 90's, but to me it takes too much effort and still opens slow. While I called out my Delica, I just can't stand Spyderco's hole, nor their semi wharncliffe with a big butt grinds.

Kershaw Blur. I like KAI, but the Blur is one of the most over rated knives ever made. Not to say it's bad, but it's not as good as many people spin it to be.

yes yes release your anger.

Spyderco Tenacious. It was a real disappointment for me. I love everything about this knife...except the lock. It's so weak that even light impacts on the spine cause the lock to fail. No thanks. This bothers me a lot because I truly adore my Tenacious' ergonomics, jimping, and especially blade shape.

I guess that would be a problem if you were using your knife backwards. I have a tenacious and it is a great knife for the price.

yea i can't understand why my folder lock fails when i cause light impact on the spine with the knife flipped over.
must be a cheap lock. :p maybe i should try using my knife with the sharp edge.

Hinderer XM18 for me. Crazy price in the secondary market and it was the only knife I've ever owned that would chronically open in my pocket due to a weak detent. Overall quality, besides the detent, was very solid but still not worth the $600 I paid for it at the time. I did end up selling at $575 with full disclosure over the weak detent.

Any cheap knife by any company pretty much....They are cheap for a reason. I also would never buy any kind of Gerber knife ever ever again

face it, folding knives aren't for heavy duty chores. use folding knives within there limits and they'll last you a long time and they're not made for making firewood. if you're going to do heavy duty things, man up and use a fixed blade but don't expect big things from a folder. i still can't believe my lock failed when i had it flipped over and was spine whacking the heck out of it.

True on the Buck Strider. Total POS.

Spyderco Delica. That lock is too easily disabled by lint. Knife is the right size for me, but that lock is just dangerous on a knife that's meant to be clipped inside a pocket, IMO.

I've carried a Delica almost daily for over 20 years and have never experienced the lock being "disabled" by lint. A quick wash under the tap followed by a blast of air every week or so - followed by a drop of lube. That's all they need.

After the ZT0777 Experience (already fully paid 1 year ago and not knowing yet what I'll receive what I'll pay for a "downgraded"M390 steel) I'm proud to say NOTHING from ZT.

Its a shame that you had to paid in full before they even had your knife in stock but for the price I can't think of a better production knife than the 0777M390...M390 is very nice steel. Compare the 0777M390 to other $400 production knives...to me, the ZT offers more (carbon fiber, great steel, KVT bearing pivot, titanium sub-framelock) for the money than most others at that price. Of course, your opinion my differ.

So if you your receive your 0777M390 will you be selling it? (since you're proud not to own any ZT's)

Cheap Chinese crappy knives you may find at gas stations. Not even for a penny.Had too many close calls with them, locks failing, opening up in my pocket, etc.

Probably yes, I'll sell it....
Let me add that many users are also experiencing defective detent in closed position (and of course, to me, it's not acceptable for a 400$ knife, any brand any maker).
I'm praying it will arrive safe because I cannot be charged with extra bothering things, so if it will be defective it'll put in the vice and I'll hold my 10lb hammer in my hand.....
Last but not least for the same money I had sale on a beautiful MT Matrix but my money were already tied on this looser horse....WTF...

ALot of Kershaw hate on here. I really like most of their knives and EDC the crap out of a blur without any problems so far. May have just got lucky. I like collecting knives and trading back and forth so Kershaw works for me because I can try out a bunch of good knives without going into the poor house. My blur and skyline are just amazing for the money! For me anyway lol. Different strokes, different folks
