• Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I hope that you all have something to be grateful for this year and for many years to come
  • America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.

Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!

Kudos To One Of Our Own, Ken Erickson...Blade Show 2012 "Best Folder" Award

You and Charlie opined, I just wrote down what you said, and Ken did all of the work in the ensuing years. But it sure looks like some of your comparisons of Ken to other makers back in 2010 are starting to come to fruition.

I like to say "fruition", especially since I learned it wasn't a mind altering drug. :p

Congratulations again, Ken.

Thanks, Mike. Ken makes it pretty easy for one to appear clairvoyant. :p

A little late in the congrats column here, Ken, but want to get a word in. This was an exceptional piece and a well deserved award! Always a pleasure to visit with you and admire your work. I didn't realize you had won the best folder award as we met leaving the hotel Sunday morning, or I would have given you a huge thumbs up. But, let me say I am not surprised at all in your honor. Well deserving, and I congratulate you!

Thanks again everyone for the very kind comments and congrats. Forging friendships at Blade and here on the forum , for me, is the most enjoyable part of this whole experience.

Ken, I'm alittle slow I just found out you won best folder and I wanted to congratulate you. That was an exceptional piece and you certainly deserved to win. I'm glad I got to see it. Of course all your knives are great. Keep'em comin.

Joel

Way to go Ken. That one looks like some blood, sweat and tears went into it.
