One thing I hate about going with deep carry is the fact that the stock clips are so nicly finished and engraved.

For sure and they wear gracefully. I’ve had many spydies but for some reason I just realized how detailed and nice the stock one is on the new arrival . Of course after buying to DP lynches which are really nice to btw .

ok finally took a decent pic. For my carry needs tt needed the deep pocket clip. Wish there was a more polished version to match the blade. If I decide to let patina it won't clash as much.

In case you wanted to see deep clip on PM2 vs PM3 vs Manix2 stock see second pic below. Kind of bothers me you can see the clip from the other side of the knife. Doesn't merge with the feng shui of the knife.

Between the shorter and longer lynch clip, which one fits PM2 better?

My pic shows mxg clips only. Might try some 2 screw vs 3 screw versions if their clips.

I always put a deep carry clip on the PM2. My favorite is the bead blasted one from "blade4sell" on big auction site over the MXG ones because its the only one I know of that is recessed/countersunk for the screw heads, so the screws don't catch on your pocket like other deep carry clips. I also really like the finish because it fairs better than paint. The spit one shown here has less drag, like the wire clip.

I don't think I can link to the big auction site or big river site, but it is seller "blade4sell". They have clips with and without the spider or split, polished, black, colors. I like this one with the bead blast finish that blends nicely with jeans and holds up better than paint.

I almost posted the fact that nobody makes the holes recessed! If they did I would buy! For some reason I don't like that knockoff spider, but it may be worth it for everything else it accomplishes in design.

I've tried both sizes and prefer the shorter ones for the PM2...the longer ones fit the frn delica/endura better imo.

Does the CF Peel Ply smooth out the way Syderco G10 does after some usage? The G10 shreds your jeans when new, then after a while they're smooth and slide in easily.

I think mine smoothed out pretty well, I don’t have a new one to compare it to though. That being said, the area under the clip is visibly more shiny so I have to think it’s smoothed out.

Freaking Spyderco (says the guy who keeps buying their knives). Bought enough clips to buy a new knife already! Delivery expected in May!!

Received mine yesterday. Great knife. $220 is about the right price, especially if compared to other brands/models (e.g., ZT 0562cf and Benchmade 551-1). Not quite as smooth as the DLT red M390 out of box, but it does not bother me at all as I'm sure it will get there after break-in.

Well, when I bought the BHD DLC M4, I did not know KW would have this cf run. Look - it pairs nicely with the big bro ti/cf s90v military. Eventually I think the BHQ PM2 will be the one to part with.
